Glancing up at me from their bearded faces and then back to their working on their final weapons of the night. The sound of the forge was something that made certain dwarf smile with glee, especially myself. Standing at my work area, I had put the metal into the furnace hours ago and finally, the metal had metaled together perfectly. Already, two of my swords had been failures and it was mostly because some nosy idiot got in my way. Pouring the molten metal into a stone with a shape in it, I watched as it formed the small shape I needed. Allowing it to cool some before taking it out, I grabbed a drink of some water away from my forging area. As I returned, I moved the metal to my anvil and began hitting it hard with my hammer. Slowly it began to become longer and longer and I smiled each time I put it back in to heat the steal. Finally, it was where I wanted it and I let it cool without striking it with the hammer. I grabbed wool from the shelf and wrapped it to slow the cooling process... This was going to take a while and I took the apron from my waist and moved away and looked at my brothers.
"How long before ya come home?"
"Probably in the next few hours, Anajaz. Ya tell me wife I will grab that goat fer supper." Lifting my hand in acknowledgement, I grabbed my bag and flung it over my shoulder. I didn't want to keep them from their work, so I moved from the forge and left. Walking to the market place, I knew I needed to grab something for dinner myself, as I didn't want to burden my brother's wife to feed me as well. Making my way into the market, I was quick to purchase some greens and meat before heading back to the tunnel that lead to my home.
"Ingeitum!" Turning, I pushed my red hair from my face and my brows came together in confusion before I saw one of the many dwarves come near me. "Ah, thank ya for stoppin' miss... My Farthen wanted to speak to you before you got home. He saw ya passin' by." Rubbing the back of my neck, I sighed and then nodded. If it was to help my forge, I would do what I needed to do. I moved into the tunnel towards the home of the boy and entered the home and gave a respectful nod to the woman of the home and her husband.
"Ah, my son managed to catch up, I was hopin' you could fashion me this." Taking the paper from him, I studied it for a moment and nodded. "Good. Then that is all. How much will it be?"
"That is somethin' I can't tell ya right now, but soon... I will figure it all out." With a quick farewell, I moved from the home and headed further into the tunnels and soon, entered the home I shared with my family. The wives of my brothers looked to me and I told them my brother's message and then, I went to a chair and looked at a few things. The door open for visitors to come in, I heard someone come in and looked up.
