Ilirea

Only months ago, Ilirea was, indisputably, the centre of knowledge in the known world. But in just a few short weeks, it was overturned by elvish soldiers, driving the Riders and all who sympathized with them from the city. It has become a ghost town, the great Citadel with its windows smashed, houses with their doors wide open, parks destroyed- and many, many valuables left for the taking. In their rush, the Riders left many books, scrolls, and artefacts that they are only allowed to remove sparingly, and bandits are commonplace within the walls.
