Indomitis Amerasu
Bastion of Gûntera
Name: Indomitis Amerasu
Age: 125
Race: Dwarf
Allegiance: Gûntera
Occupation: Paladin
Physical Description:
Indomitis stands at middling height for a dwarf at Roughly four foot tall. His long brown hair flows freely in the wind yet almost never seems to cover his face, Which is in part to his skill with magic. Indomitis has a few sharply wound braids from the hair around his ears when then flow downwards and frame his face. His face may look flawless but if examined closer it is riddled with the lines of a master campaigner. His eyes are a startling light grey and add a extreme seriousness to his gaze. It is often described that one would rather look into a Naga's eyes than his. Such a level of scrutiny rarely exists. The only other mars on his skin are a long scar from his right shoulder to his elbow. It was received during a nasty battle with a renegade commander.
As for Indomitis' gear it is relatively simple but don't let it fool you. He Wears a very fine cloth tunic under a suit of the Finest Dwarven mail that can be found. The mail is white and shines gold in certain light, it has an attached leather and cloth hood that connects perfectly with the mail. Indomitis wears master crafted leather bracers and boots. One of the most interesting features of his kit is the Leather and void black mail that compose his battle skirt. It does many things and has many pockets, it also shields his legs to some degree even though he wears mail backed leather breeches. The skirt is almost as long as his legs and can sometimes scrape the ground. However there is almost no other sight as frightening to the renegades of Gûntera that he chases. the swirling of the battle skirt spell their doom as he flourishes profusely in combat.
Indomitis Carries two small hand axes which are strapped to his battle skirt. They are simple things and deserve no more attention that noticing that they are perfectly taken care of and sharper than hell. Sheathed along his right hip is The sword of Gûntera. It is an ancient blade, Handed down to the Paladin-Bastion by their teacher. It is the strongest blade known to exist in the Dwarven empire and is only for those Touched by Gûntera as their paladin. It is folded many times, its design is blue white and gold, the favorite gems of Gûntera.
Indomitis carries strapped to his back a shield, it is named the Bulwark of Gûntera. For all who strike at it fail. ITs design is simple like a kite shield and yet oddly unique, the emblem at its center is that of a Paladin bastion. the metal itself is actually rock that was believed to have been melded together by the great god Gûntera. There is no stronger shield in all the land.
Personality:
Indomitis is the Paladin bastion of Guntera. His mind is incredibly sharp and his eyes observant. He was trained and taught to view every angle of the world. He is immensely aware of the workings of the world which include politics, magic, and social hierarchies. That being said this knowledge has left him with a Firm attitude. He often sounds like he is ordering someone one, even if it is just conversation.
Habits:
Indomitis has no major habits. He will chew slightly on the end of his beard when lost in thought. Indomitis has also grown fond of Rolling Eccathuvin leaves once dried into paper and alighting it like one would a pipe((the result is much like tobacco))
Skills:
Indomitis is a grand-master with both sword and shield. Having been selected as the paladin bastion at age four when it was discovered he bore the grey eyes of Gûntera. His training was extremely harsh and it consisted of many things. Commanding a team of ten people, Logistics, battle tactics, the working of the court. it was all covered and beat and shoved into the very nature of his soul.
Indomitis is also Extremely well skilled with magic, one of the best in the Dwarven lands. This is possible due to fact for one his selection by Gûntera but the training of the Dwarven grand masters. his test was to carve a statue of Gûntera using nothing but his fingernails, it took several weeks for him to lose his control and perform magic. after that point he was schooled continuously in the subject and speaks Ancient language perfectly.
History:
Indomitis was born in Tarnag to a mother and father who were devout followers of Gûntera. His father was a priest at the nearby temple and his mother managed a shop in the market. When the Census came from Tronjhiem four years later they were pleased to see that Indomitis was selected by the God Gûntera himself to be his champion, his Bastion. The teachers took Indomitis away from his parents at age four, and he has not seen them since. it would be a weakness in the eyes of Gûntera.
Indomitis' child hood was filled with harsh lessons in the way of sword and shield. His classes started a few hours before dawn and lasted till long in the night. During this time Indomitis celebrated his tenth birthday. It was an occasion that meant little to him other than he was allowed a second helping of dinner that day.
For the academy at which he learned was secreted from the rest of the Dwarven world. its Teachers were a little known about secret that only the king and his trusted advisors knew about. And so at this hidden academy Indomitis learned to be the Bastion of Gûntera. Indomitis studied at this academy for an age, not leaving until his was perfect in the eyes of Gûntera
His skills soon reflected that what his teachers sought and at age one hundred and twenty they pronounced him the Paladin bastion of Gûntera. None in the Dwarven kingdom could best him in combat. For too fast was his sword and too potent was his magic. As the Bastion of Gûntera he sought righteousness in all the dwarven lands. His shield and sword were finally given to him at his coronation by the king.
Since this time Indomitis has patrolled the land of his God's kingdom and cut down the wicked forces within it. He commanded a large unit of ten men against the evil in the kingdom. They followed Indomitis completely and their faith in him as their bastion would never waver
Wherever this company goes they stay true to Gûntera 's teachings for they are the might of sword. Gûntera expects nothing but perfection and that is what this warrior troop brings him. They follow the rules of The paladin bastions. after over a hundred years in the service of Guntera, he was finally given an assingment that he felt was interesting. The commander of the dwarven patrols had gone missing, He and his Team were to head deep into the heard of the human territory and recover their lost commander.
There is no good there is no evil, there is only Righteousness before Gûntera
The punishment for those found unrighteous before Gûntera is death.
There is no perfection besides Gûntera.
There is no greater force than Gûntera and his champions.

The king of all Dwarven kind sat upon his grey black chair and twirled his thoughts around him. His kingdom was in trouble, Their military leader was missing. The General of the Entire dwarven army was no where to be found.Such a realization that his kingdom was utterly in the hands of less experienced dwarves chilled the mighty king. He tried to think of ways he could send his forces to retrieve the General, but alas no thoughts came to him readily.
Withdrawing a long an ornate pipe the king lit it with a small tinderbox, Taking several puffs blue grey smoke soon clouded the air around the throne, The smoke swirled in many great patterns and the king was amused that he could often think clearer when looking at the sight.
Withdrawing into himself the king thought 'I need a large group of soldiers to do what I wish, for not only do I want my General back. I wish to make contact with the Riders. I wish to see if they are worth the legends that they sing of them. If they prove to be noble and pure I may pledge my support to them, But who can i send? i have no heir no near cousin. I have no Soldier at my ready beck and call that would be up to this task. Oh Guntera! why do you test me so!'
Then seeming as if an unbidden thought had crept into his mind. The Dwarven king did have someone, something that could help attain his goal. He Had Guntera, and by this Extension The Paladin order of Guntera. For it was these highly trained legends that may actually accomplish what the king had in mind. slightly jumping down from his raised Throne the king jogged the length of the great cavern to the door. Poking his head outside of it he told the gaurd in a shushed manner
"Bring me the Bastion"
It was another week While the Paladin travelled that the king waited and grew more and more concerned about his scheme to kill two birds with one stone. A week in which many doubts began to worm into his mind. It was on one such day that the Chamber to his throne room opened and his sight beheld him for only the fourth time.
"Bastion, you have came." Said the king as the mighty paladin bowed at his feet.
"You sought my presence king?" Indomitis said with a clear and sharp voice, Brilliance beyond reason and experience beyound thought were contained in the voice. it was as solid as steel, and yet fluid like water.
"Well you see....Our commander is lost in the human world we fear. After having his men scout further than usual we lost contact with them all. I would like to send you and your troop as well, to go now into the human world and locate our commander, for without him our armies will be weak if we need them. There is Another task as well. I wish to extend my diplomatic ties to the Riders, and i can think of no better group then The Hammer."
Indomitis thought quickly about what the king had said. weighing options and what it would take to get the troop there was a small matter for a mind such as his. responding he said "Very well, king. Guntera would hate to see the loss of his kingdom. I shall strike out at once, into the heartland of the humans and bring Guntera's vengance to all that oppose me, As well as your Voice to the leader of the Riders."
Indomitis stood and without a second though swept back towards the entryway. The door clacked with a metal sound as it shut and the king stirred in his chair
"Yes, I know you will"
