Physical Description:
Sonoshee is a beautiful, light blue color that shines in almost any lighting. All dragon's scales shine, at least that is what they would like you to believe, but hers are particularly bright due to the light color. The color on her underbelly is slightly bluer, if it is possible, instead of the traditional slightly lighter underbelly of most dragons due to the duller tone of the hide. She is particularly long and slim with angular features, which gives her something of a majestic and regal look, as well as allowing her to be especially quick and agile in the air and water. During her early years, she tends to fly in circles about her Rider's head, and only land when she has to, during lessons or training or banquets. She does not have the weight of other dragons because of her body type, which puts her at something of a disadvantage strength wise, but it is made up for it in the agility it gives her.
Personality:
Sonoshee follows the long tradition of a fierce, aggressive attitude, although she does fare a little poorly in the areas of femininity in Dragonhood, namely being stronger than the rest. However, she does not let this deter her, for while she can not overpower her opponent, she can certainly out fight them, using her agility and smarts, along with the similar aspects of her Rider for a winning combination of intelligence, aggresive actions, instinct, and straight up gambling that lets her come out on top more times than not. She feels her Rider's desire to be the best and the great things he imagined for them on their first meeting, in the egg room, and desperately wants him to accomplish her task, but also tries to temper his someone grating compulsion to one up another of his peers.
She tries to temper him, of course, when she is not doing the exact same thing along with him.
One of the few things that tends to calm her down, however, is a swim through the water, be it fresh or salt water, since the feeling of immersion in something other than the air is a novel concept to her, especially when the movement she can achieve under the water matches what she can attain in the air, and that fascinates her.
History:
Born of the dragon Nila, a Rider's dragon courted by one of the mysterious dragons back on the mainland, Sonoshee was in her egg a remarkably long time, considering waves of elven children came to Ilirea to make their pass at becoming Riders. She took none of them though, their desires wild and esoteric, nothing truly interesting to her.
Then the Humans came.
She knew her time was coming when she felt the inclusion of the Humans into the blood pact, even in the egg, and she felt each Human claimant when they took their turn, at least until she felt Arisato. His desires and delusions of grandeur sparked a flame inside of her, one convincing her of their truth, and she immediately made her choice. She hatched for him, and was eager to enter into their long, illustrious career.
