Physical Description:Darek is the exact opposite of what you would expect when you here the word elf. Where they are tall, he stands at only 5'5" and weighs a total of 135 pounds. His skin is pale white due to his delema even though the lycanthrope blood cancels some of the sensitivity out. It still irritates his skin so that he is mostly inside with windows only at the very tops of his rooms so that the sun only lights the room up, never fills it. Unlike his sister who can easily hide her heritage from the world, Darek can not for he has the yellow predatory eyes of the great panther inside him showing at all times.
Due to being bitten by a vampire also made him never able to hide his fangs that are beyond that of even a lycanthropes sharpness due to the vampire that runs through his veins now. Luckily he did gain something from his mother and it has stayed with him threw out the years, no matter what happened, her beautiful silvery white hair. Though he keeps it long it is braid into three different braids, each with a different color ribbon in it. The first is the green which stands for his honor that he puts above ll else. Next is a red ribbon which stands for the blood he has split doing what has to be done, though he dose not enjoy killing when he must to protect himself or those around him he will do so. And lastly is the Gold ribbon which stands for his class back home and his duty to his people and country. These three ribbons remind him of his job, and he takes it very seriously.
Dareks facial structure is a bit different from the norm for elf's due to his father's genes, but besides the facial hair he can grow and the less pointed ears, it is almost impossible to tell he is not himself a full blooded elf. For one so short and weak appearing to his race, he is actually ten times stronger then anyone of them. Due to his fathers blood and the curse of vamperism he has far exceed the norms of his race. He walks with a sense of authority though he demands no respect from any who are not his pupils, though most give it to him, even though they think he is an abomination.
In Panther form he has a pure white coat, which is completely unheard of for an animal of his kind, but it dose not stop him from getting down what needs to be done. Like his sister though the mix of animal and man escapes him though and he can not turn into his hybrid form no matter how hard he tries. Lastly Darek has a pair of jet black bat wings attached to his back that he had his parents work into him with there elfish magic for he power of magic itself elude him no for the most part since the curse had happened.
As for Darek clothing it all depends on the day and time, During the hours when the sun is in the sky, Darek likes to have his body fully covered with dark clothing, From a cloak down to his knee high urgal hide boots, Darek waste no time in chances and so keeps himself covered. But while inside, or at night, Darek takes on a much more calming demoner dressed in all white.
Personality: Darek is an easy going person that cares not for violence. though not many besides the riders and Shades can match his power with a sword when he choose to pick up his blades, but it is very rare for him to do so in violence. Darek is one of the most kind hearted people in the world, but unlike some his animal instincts are all that keep him from being a saint. Though not as bad as his sister, Darek still has a few spurts of anger every now and then and because of this he is lawful neutral, a judge of others. Considered a wise man by some, and an abomination by others, Darek often spends his time indoors., where he can choose his environment and who comes in and out of his home.
History: Darek was the second born child of a wealthy elf family. His eldest sister was named Artemis, and she was already in school as he learned the gentler things in life. When not with the other elf's he was with his father in panther form learning how to hunt and keep the animal inside restrained. Darek excelled at all skills that were given to him, and was his parents pride and joy, where his sister had short comings, he only had the desire to perfect all he could.
On Dareks 20 birthday his parents brought him to the mighty city of Ilirea for his proper training, and that is where his troubles began. He was the greatest student his teachers had seen in a long time, he was excellent in both magic and in melee. But his fame became his undoing, for while he was praised, the eldest child was forgotten. Because of this she grew cold and heartless and began looking for ways to undermine Darek. Even upon her graduation it was Darek who was still in school that got most of the attention.
For Dareks last 20 years at the school, the teachers began to throw upon him more challenging task then they ever had before. He passed all of them, and never once was to stuck up for his achievements. He was humble to the core. Upon his graduation he refused to participate in the grand melee due to the fact he knew he would win, because of this the riders gave him a scroll and gave him there blessing as he left there great city to return home.
Upon Dareks arrival home he saw much changed, where once he had seen his parents in a kind healthy light he saw them mean and harsh towards his youngest sister. At the time he did not know that they were trying to protect him but he soon found out. After his one hundred birthday his sister asked him to meet her somewhere and he happily went, with no weapons or anything for he trusted his sister like no other. For hours he waited for her to arrive but she never did. Instead came an assassin out of the shadows who came at Darek and bit into his neck, trying to tear it free of his head. Darek reacted on pure instinct and blasted the creature with fire. The power it took to kill the creature almost killed him as well, but somehow he survived.
Three days later his parents found him and took him home, he had still not woken up, but you could see the internal struggle inside his body as the vampire that had attacked him had made its taint. Where once was a living boy, now was an abomination more so then before. When he awoke on the forth day his parents gasped with happiness and sorrow. That was when Darek knew what had transpired. That same night his parents kicked Artemis out of there home and refused to acknowledge her as there child and so there inheritance passed onto Darek. And for the next 50 years Darek and his family had to fend off other elf's that wished to kill Darek for what he had become. Each time Darek bested them, and each time he let them go, refusing to kill anyone of them. For if he did all there lives would be in danger. He survived on the blood of the elf nations fair horses but even then he grew restless, and so decided to leave and go back to the home of the riders where he could escape prosecution.
And so he did escape the prosecution, but the riders in the end turned him down, saying he could not become a rider in his new state. So he then asked them permission to become a teacher for all those who wished to have there children trained before they went to the riders. He was granted the wish as long as he did not fed on them, and so he accepted his new job as teacher. It has been 70 years now since he has last seen his family, and his last student has just graduate at the top of his class. Though Darek writes daily to his family and keeps a close eye on Dantie until he leaves the city, he has grown reckless and has begun seeking for companionship and so has decided to go to the slave markets. " What better way to get your food and a friend then all at the same place." Darek said to himself with a sigh, though if the person he freed did not wish to be fed upon Darek would not, staying to the rats and other things he found instead. This is the history of Darek von cleft.

Though Darek can walk in the sun due to his lycan blood counteracting the vampire blood, he can only stay in it for 5 hours a day, and even that is in extreme discomfort.
Dareks senses are far beyond those of almost everything besides a dragon, but he refuses to use them or to fight unless defending those he must, or training others.
Darek can switch between a panther and a human for forms, but he can not become a hybrid of both.
And lastly Darek can survive a week without blood, if he goes that long without it one of two things will happen,50% chance he will die. and the other chance is that he has to begin drinking from the nearest thin. Every day he resist he becomes closer to death.
