NEW SITE NAME

Okay, guys! Nayeli and I have decided to change the site's name, since this site isn't really about the Riders and so it's pretty misleading to new members.

Preferably, we'd like to follow in Lethrblaka and Erisdar's footsteps, and have the site's name be just one word that has something to do with Eragon. Here are two examples:

Argetlam

Agaeti Blodhren is a fantastic idea, Phrost!

And on second thought, I don't think Argetlam or Eldunari should be options after all, because that's just failing at what we're trying to fix here. Argetlam, a Rider's hand, and Eldunari, the dragon's true heart? Gah! What was I thinking?

So, any Eragon-esque word that DOESN'T have to do with Riders or dragons is fantastic. XD

Well, I suppose it would be nice as one word, but I thought this one would be ironic, though it's not that well known, Liduen Kvaedhí. Description of it seems to fit nicely. After all, it is a beautiful form of writing. That or we should be Blagden, because he is awesome, or Fanghur (more in the spirit of Lethrblaka, being named after one of the creatures). Or why not Wyrda?

I kid. I think this is such a good idea, I'll make them from scratch if I have to. I never really liked Age of Riders.

Personally, I'll cast my vote for Liduen Kvaedhí. General, yet relevant. Although if we could find something that cool and emphatic that's a single word, that would be better. It should really be a name that nobody can seem to get out of their head. I'll keep looking.

I was reading through a list of words in the ancient language and came across a few I liked- Edoc'sil (unconquerable), Aiedail (morning star), and Domia abr Wyrda (Dominance of Fate). I think the last one is a little more relevant, because the book is supposed to be a history of Alagaesia, which is what we're writing ourselves, right? Plus it's just cool. Outside of the ancient language, I was looking at the poem Eragon wrote- In the Kingdom by the Sea, and one of the stanzas caught my eye; To kill the foe in Durza; in the land of shadows. You could probably get something from that. I'll have to keep thinking about it.

Really liking Edoc'sil and Aiedail. I know my preference is changing every five seconds, but all of a sudden Liduen Kvaedhí sounds kinda... snooty to me, if that makes any sense. >.> I still want it to be one word!

I like Domia abr Wyrda best, personally. Mostly because I'm personally a big believer in fate, but also because it seems the most relevant like Lenni said.

Agreed. History of Alagaesia, a focus on weaving and interchanging factors instead of just the Riders, it sounds cool....

My only beef is that it's a bit hard to remember and doesn't make for a good acronym.

So maybe we could just call it Wydra for Fate? Seems applicable. Not sure of any other good single words from the book.
