THIS IS THE OFFICIAL INTRODUCTIONS FOR MEMBERS like myself.
My name is Phrost! I like writing, Drill Team for my ROTC unit, JOHNNY CASH MUSIC, Journey, y'know, the good ol' stuff. I enjoy working up a sweat, doesn't matter what I'm doing. If I sweat doing it, it's a good day.
I like to talk, so if you're bored, and I'm on, just lemme know. I'm Scots-Irish-German. My deepest wish is to join the US Army as Infantry. After that I wish to be an officer of the law, or a Park Ranger for the National Park Service. My favorite place in America is the Mountains of the Smokey variety. That means the Great Smokey Mountains, in North Carolina and Tennessee. Much better than anywhere else in the USA.

And much more! But at the time I am writing this, my brain is in Africa, leaving me here in the U.S, so yea, thats it. ;D
My name is {insert real name} but you can call me Alaska. And YES I do live in Alaska. No I do not live in an igloo No I do not have a pet polar bear No I do not mush (ride dog sled) to school and lastly no I do not know Sarah Palin.
I am a senior in high school. I am going to go to the University of Alaska Anchorage next year for international studies and journalism. I've studied Japanese and plan to at university. I like shouen (male) mange. I love to read and write. In fact i just won NaNoWriMo! I am also a nerd *pushed glasses further onto my nose* I like Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and regularly show up in costume to movie showings. When I grow up I want to teach English in Asia and live on as little money as possible OR be an international correspondent.
I'm Kite, named Max by those who really know me, and I am a both a Senior of High School and a Freshman in College this year of 2010. I graduate in May of 2011. I aspire to joining the United States Army as well as receiving a degree in Creative Writing and in a foreign language like Russian.
I spend a lot of time playing video games, a ridiculous amount really. The rest of the time I spend RPing, either here on Age of Riders or with my friends, tabletop style, listening to music (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Incubus, System of a Down, and the like), writing for my Creative Writing class, and watching movies/series with my parents.
I don't read much manga (and by not a lot, I mean Vampire Knight exclusively ), and watch some anime, and I have almost 30 books of Star Wars EU, as well as the entire Halo and Mass Effect EU. I own a regional release copy of Eragon, which got me into all this in the first place. I play a little guitar in my spare time as well. Once I get the solo down, I will finally be able to play a mean Sunshine of Your Love by Cream.
Hello! Please call me Clowder. I live in Alaska and I'm buddies with Alaska up there a few posts before this one. I am 17 and plan so go to UAA next year. I want to major in Japanese and am hoping to spend my fourth year at Hokkaido University. I want to teach abroad after college, hopefully, in Japan as a TA. After a time, I plan to go for a teaching degree and maybe try other parts of Asia. I love; cats, writing, reading, music, night, introverts, breakfast cereal, small living spaces, rainstorms from inside, and the smell of airports. I dislike; math, loud family gatherings, early mornings, wind when it shakes the windows in their frames, raw squid, and clutter.
Mmm... so I'm not all that good as these things, but as I'm new I feel the need to formally introduce myself.
Obviously, you can call me Akilinia, or Aki for short. I'm by no means new the world of role playing. I've been participating in various sites for the last four or five years, but reading and writing have been dear to my heart since I first discovered the Warriors series by Erin Hunter in 5th grade. It's slightly embarassing to have been hooked by a series featuring talking cats, but they were the first books I ever actually enjoyed reading. I like to think my taste in literature has matured since then. Regardless, my love always has been and always will be fantasy. I adore it. Why read about something that can happen to you in real life? Reading is supposed to stretch your mind and immerse you in the world of the author's imagination. I'd love to discuss favorite authors and series with you guys. I'm always looking for new fantasy novels to read. I could rant all day about this. Let's move on, shall we?
As for me. I am a Junior in high school. My life is ruled by my horse, volleyball, and my writing/reading pursuits. I've been riding since I was three years old, and will honestly admit that it is quite possible I would have cracked under the stress from school and whatever else if it weren't for my lovely mare. Volleyball's my other stress reliever. I play competitively on the Varsity team at my high school and for a select team from December to June/July. It's pretty time consuming, and will try to take over my rp time when I get farther into the season. It's not uncommon for me to have tournaments every weekend. However, as the select season is just getting under way, I refuse to worry about that. In regards to my future; I plan to major in veterinary medicine with a minor in literature. I hope to survive the trials that are veterinary school to become a full fledged large animal vet with some novel writing on the side.
Hi, my name is Inkena, but you can call me Kay, as that's what I go by most of the time. Most people in the US can't pronounce my name correctly so when I moved her I began going by my middle name and then hacked it into little bits and threw everyone the little bit that was Kay. I am originally from a little town outside of Moscow, but have since moved to the US. My English can be rather bad at times if I've had a bit of a brain lapse or if I was talking to my babushka seeing as she speaks no English whatsoever. I am a Sophomore in High School.
I am in FFA, and whenever I graduate High School I plan on going to SIUC to study to become an Ag Teacher. Next year, I plan on going out to Beck to study Auto Mechanics part time, while taking my normal studies. A few things to know about me are:
I know English, Russian, and some Spanish.
I love music, reading, writing, photography, my art and my horrible photomanipulations.
I have heterochromia but it's only noticeable if you really look for it.
I have osteosarcoma
Half of my right hand has no feeling because my stupid rat named Brat bit me and gave me nerve damage
I have a pet rat
I'm an FFA nerd
I am a girl, who plays Black Ops and loves it.
I rp: Cats, Dogs, Wolves, Humans, Horses, Werecats, Werewolves, Vampires, Unicorns, Pegasi, Fairies, Ghosts, Ents, Elves, Dwarves, and I've even tried roleplaying a dolphin a few times. Just about anything.
Your Administrator Lovely Nayeli ---{December 11, 1991}---{Sweet Home Alabama}---{Married}---
Hello Everyone,
I am Nayeli, but some call me Renea or Admin, either one is fine by me. I am the creator of this site, so I want to tell you a bit about myself. I think it would be nice to tell you how this site came to be first off. It is the Sister Site to a Forum known as Erisdar, a Inheritance RPG taking place after the third book. I have been a member there for a while, but the idea came to me a few months after I joined about a Inheritance RPG taking place many years before any of those in the Eragon Books. So, after talking it over with my lovely friend and Co-Administrator, LadyEmmz, we decided to get one started. It took a lot of hard work, most of it coming from Emmz, but we got it up and running.
Now, that I have told you about that, I will tell you some about me. I was born and raised on the outskirts of a small town thirty minutes from Birmingham, Alabama. I was born in St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham. I am blessed to have all four grandparents. My mother side of the family are huge Southern Gospel People, they love Southern Gospel and when I went to their home, I heard it sung and I listened to it. My father’s side of the family were not that big into Music as they were, but they did enjoy listening to old country music and other things that could be danced too… They were actually on a Square Dancing team when they were younger with my father’s Uncle and Aunt.
A bit about my father’s side, you will I use a lot of names like Bryce and David in the names of some of my characters, such as my three first characters, the Richards Siblings have a father named Bryce. Bryce is a family name, my grandfather has many siblings, boy and girl… Now, Bryce is Scottish name and when my great, great grandparents wrote their will, all the children that my great grandparents had, had to have Bryce in their name, because it was family and they did not want the name of leave the family. My grandfather actually got $2400 in his inheritance from his grandparents. I, will probably not get that much, but I honestly don’t want anything from my grandfather. You may also see me make a character with the last name of Brechin. That is my Maiden name and it is a Scottish name. My great-great-Grandfather was in America, coming first to New York and then to Alabama, he came from Edinburgh thirty minutes from a town known as Brechin, Scotland. So, that explains why I love my family names and such. By the way, my middle name is not Bryce, it is Renea. My brother, however, did gain the middle name of Bryce.
Now, on to my life… I lived on 27 acres back in Alabama. This is family land that my grandparents bought after moving from Birmingham to my hometown. They have split it up between their kids to where when the grandchildren become of age, we have one Acer of land. No one plans on selling this land, those who think about it, have their land taken away by my grandparents and it is put in my grandparent part. My Dad, Aunt, and Uncle are not going to sell the land or allow to be sold. Now, I grew up around Large Dogs and Horses. I grew up playing in mud puddles, swimming in a nice pool, and climbing trees. I grew up hunting lizards and snakes for fun, my mother, did not like that.
Now, I went to public School, raised in a Baptist Church, however, I left that church a few years ago, became non-denominational, and finally found my place in a Home Bible Study Group with friends, where we go very deep into the word, breaking it down all the way to the Hebrew text and learning Hebrew. I am very spiritual, you will see that I do not curse often, however, sometimes I do. I am not perfect, never will be, but whatever the bible says, I go by, no if’s and’s or but’s, that is how I live. I respect other religions, I learn of other religions so that way I do not offend anyone. I have friends who are muslim, mormom, and Atheist. I have no problem with other religions and I enjoy answering questions and taking prayer request.
Now, about my high school years. My ninth and tenth grade years, I was in a NJROTC group at my high school, it was closed down the end of my tenth grade year and moved to another school in the county, where it is doing very well. My brother-in-law actually goes to that school and is part of the NJROTC right now. Right before I finished tenth grade, I met a young man over Myspace, through a mutual friend from a church I had gone to. This mutual friend played football with this young man and we started talking during the summer of my prior to my tenth grade year. We reconnected in 2008, around March, started talking on the phone around mid-April and then made plans to met June 2, 2008, at my place when my family was having a little pool party for the beginning of summer.
That day, I met the boy I had been talking to for month, had even talked to his brother about NJROTC. This boy had four siblings, one older brother and two young brothers and a Young Sister. He was raised in a Southern Baptist church and I was very happy with him that day. He even helped me wash my dog that day, who decided to go and get in a mud puddle. He arrived around 1030 in the morning and around 1630(430PM) he asked me to go out with him. Though, a bit nervous and a bit of a trust issue, I said yes and we started dating. Out first kiss was a few days later. I did not think we would make it past summer, however, I was happy God had other plans for us. I attended all of his football games, even if it meant missing my own high school.
My Eleventh grade year, while I was dating this boy, I attended both my high school and also a technical school, or a career school, two hours of the morning. I truly enjoyed it and learned about Law Enforcement and some of Fire fighting. I met a lot of great people and the man who was instructing us, knew my mother from when he was in High School. He was the same age as my mother and they knew each other through friends and family. My instructor became like another father to me and to this day, I actually call him and ask him for advice.
Now, I dated this boy all through out my Eleventh Grade Year, watched him graduate and then I went on to my Twelfth Grade Year, where I attended the Technical School full time, taking all my core classes and a two hour class, though that year we focused mostly on fire fighting. My Boyfriend enlisted in the Active Duty Army and he had plans to go to Basic Training February 15, 2010. We continued dating, I was all for him since both of my grandparents were in the Army. Christmas time he got me a Promise Ring, which I loved and he also had to move in a few days before Christmas because his father and him had a fight and he got kicked out. He slept in my livingroom for a few months and then on Feb. 15, 2010, I skipped school and watched him head down to Montgomery, Alabama. The teachers at my school, helped me a lot. They were very encouraging, gave me a shoulder to cry on and always positive. I had also enlisted in the Alabama National Guard, however, requested discharge when my grandfather was growing ill.
During my boyfriend’s basic training, he sent me a letter with the words I had been waiting for, for many, many months. The boy I met on June 2, 2008 asked for my hand in Marriage, said he never wanted to go overseas without being married to me. So, I said yes, he even sent my father a letter, who said “He knows how to talk in a letter, I wonder if I should make him say that to my face.” My father was all for it, along with his parents, which was surprising. I went to Fort Jackson, South Carolina on April 28th, 2010, in order to go to Family Day on April 29th and see my Fiancé for the first time in many months. I found very quickly and I was so happy to be in his arms again. On the 30th, he graduated and on May 1st, was able to stay with my mom and me at our friends place for the weekend so we could spend some time together.
My fiancé attend AIT also at Fort Jackson, which is extra training for his Job. He was there until August 20th. I got the call on the 19th to tell me to come and get him on the 20th. I got my mother to fuel up our dully truck and we headed to South Carolina, a six hour drive early in the morning. We got there and left with him at 1230, heading back south for Alabama. We got married August 28th, 2010 and he left for Hawaii, his new Duty Station, September 3, 2010. I was so excited that we would be in Hawai’i, a place I always wanted to go. I joined him, November 6, 2010 a few months later and this is where I am now. We have a small, yet nice home on Wheeler Army Airfield in Hawai’i, we are on a beautiful Island and I have fallen in complete love for this place.
My husband will be deployed to Afghanistan February 2012, for his first tour of duty. During that time, I will take a trip home for a few weeks and then head back to Hawai’i with some friends to enjoy some time with them. We will be here for sure until 2013 and I hope to get another few years here after that. I hope to have some questions and I would love to answer everyones thoughts and questions for me.
