Name:
Isana
Age:
154
Race:
Elf Maid
Occupation:
Countess of Silthrim
Allegiance:
Du Weldenvarden
Physical Description:
She is said to take the form of anthropomorphic grey timber wolf when she's bored. But the level of beast quality depends on her mood- she can go from being almost completely quadrupedal, to as humanoid as an elf can be. The one thing stopping her from running into the forest and never being seen again is her responsibility to the elven city of Silthrim. For the most part, she settles for a pair of wolf ears that prick out from her hair, and sometimes this is accompanied by a matching tail.
On rare occasions, she can be seen without any wolf-like qualities, and it is then that her natural beauty can be seen. Her hair is the color of autumn leaves, and her eyes the hue of sun-baked sand- a rich earthy amber. She is kind of short for an elf woman, although still slim and graceful. She is often seen wearing the normal clothes for all elves, although she is quite fond of the color green and is almost always wearing a tunic dress in a shade of the loved color. She prefers dresses that cut off at the knee and are sleeveless for free movement, although for important dinners or business affairs, she employs a more formal attire. It's just for show- she'd much rather prefer a casual wardrobe at all times.
In front of the queen, her formality comes to a peak. She wants to impress, and so she wears long dresses of any color and has large banquets in the royalties honor. She also wears a circlet of silver when she's in the presence of important people.
Personality:
Preferring the casual side of life in a society BASED on formality is not an easy choice. While she does not forget to be formal in front of elves of importance, her jovial nature may surprise a good many outsiders. At first, there would seem to be nothing different about her from the other laughing elves, however, she seems to genuinely enjoy the dancing and laughter. While she knows how to be serious, and can be quite vicious when she's pushed, she never seems to lose her cool. Ever.
As most all elves are, she is a master of self-control, and can maintain a smile, even in the harshest of situations. She enjoys the company of many forest animals, and can often be found talking to a cat or some other creature. Isana is also quite fond of poetry, and she rarely ever speaks without rhyming. It can be quite vexing to others, but she means nothing by it other than it is her preferred way of speaking.
Although she likes to keep up the impression that she is as solid as a stone, she does have her fair share of insecurities. She was elected the countess of Silthrim after her father, the count before her, died. She was very close to him, and his passing into the void has caused her a great deal of pain. She tries to hide it from others, but those that know her well enough can see the truth. She is hurting- She's just a sad little girl, trying to fill her father's shoes. She does not feel much like a countess at the moment, but she has faith that one day she'll be able to stand tall in her inherited position. In the meantime, she tries all that she can to do what she needs in order to run the city, and all the boring work that involves. When she gets overwhelmed, she changes into her old form and runs off to think by herself.
