~basics~
Name: Ikeya Ahti
Age: looks 25, real age 115
Gender: female
Race: elf
allegiance: herself and the riders (she secretly wishes to be one).
~in depth~
appearance: Ikeya is well built for an elven woman. She is athletic and, though obviously feminine, she likes to hide it in order to maintain a sense of equality. Her hair is usually worn long, held together only by a couple ties so as to keep it neat and organized. Her eyes, however, are a deep blue that gleamed with intelligence of a woman well-educated. She stands at a proud five feet and seven inches in height. She has a scar right under her eye that she received in an accident when she was little. She had a personal tattoo on the back of her neck, a symbol in the shape of an elongated diamond with two triangles on the top, elongated sides. It was a symbol of something bigger, a symbol of her devotion to a belief apart from any political organization.
personality: Ikeya is an individualist and strong of character. She grew up raised by two very strong parents. She is not a violent person, but she will fight for friends, family, and for her home if they were attacked first. She is honorable to a high degree, being considered a lawful neutral in character type. In whole participation in society, she is always outgoing and friendly to those she perceives as friends. Even when they are not friends, she is not afraid to be kind towards them. Like her close friends, she does not prescribe to the elven courtesy policy except in greetings and when the other person is of a much higher rank. She is often known for being blunt in her descriptions of certain situations, not fearing what others say or think of her for those kinds of comments.
relationships:Kayo Ahti- mother, Belenus Ahti- father, Kaio Inazuma- crush, Brynja Aella- close friend
history: Ikeya grew up in Elesmera to a relatively well off family of craftspeople, one a maker of fine bows and the other a scholar and soldier who served in the War of the Blue Divide. Ikeya was born shortly before the Blue Divide, but she didn't hear much of it until she was a bit older. Otherwise, she grew up much like other elves in the schooling in magic and other such topics. She was always quite bright, but though pushed into a scholarly lifestyle, she took every available time she could to explore the forest, often climbing trees and rocks and investigating riders who came through the city. She always had an interest in riders, more for her own future than anything else. Ikeya found dragons alluring, beautiful yet deadly, which she aspired to be. She had a deep desire to learn things not taught, and a curiosity that was rarely ever able to be quenched. Though her mother was a skilled bow craftswoman, Ikeya took an interest not in bows, but rather in hand-crafted furniture: chairs, tables, etc. Once she finished her schooling, she moved away to Illirea, leaving the object of affection that she had been keeping her eye on: Kaio Inazuma. It was in Illirea that her desire to be a dragon rider grew, being around them nearly every day increased it. She began studying them more, striving to understand the bond between the two. Being so close to the library allowed her to expand her knowledge base, as if she thought understanding more would make her a rider. She stayed in Illirea for the rest of her time, working still in her furniture shop, being successful and well-known in the city for her craft.
