I had been prowling around most of the forsaken evening, my paws were evening beginning to hurt as I moved through the small forest not far from the small port city of Arough. It was a pathetic town and why the riders had sent me here was unknown. They told me that they wanted me to investigate something known as the Werelight, but honestly, what could I find out about it that they did not know. I had a feeling it was more then that, they wanted me to quit fooling with the young riders so they sent me on vacation. They knew I enjoyed messing with the minds of those young hatchlings and honestly, it was rather fun in my mind. I gave a slightly feline grin as I moved through the thin forest and then came to a stop at the edge, lowering my body into the grass and watching the city from afar.

It was a nice looking town, with plenty of humans to have some fun with, but I knew better, I had to be careful… I glanced around for a moment and growled slightly as I found it rather annoying that I had nothing to do. I rolled onto my back, my paws were just over my chest and soon, I was changing from my feline self to my… Well… Human form. My red hair was spread around me, a few feathers laced it to decorate it. My feline like eyes looking into the trees and I smiled as I thought of my time traveling here. I had messed with a young man along the way, he had followed me most the way, but he had ended up turning back towards his own home. I let out a sigh and stood, my clothing was something that most woman would find disgraceful. It was a dress, with two straps on my shoulders which crossed in the back, skin tight and it went down to just above my knees and had two slits up both sides. On my hip was my dagger and on my shoulder was my bag that held some extra clothing. I was happy that both articles had been possessed by magic to morph with me so that I could travel light.

I opened the small bag and made sure everything was there before giving a sharp tooth smile and moving towards the city as a easy pace. I really did not want to be here, but I would just make due with being here and enjoy myself. I could not help but smile as I got closer to the gate, I could already see the guards gawking at my flawless body, my pale skin was something to enjoy. They were off of their guard and I found the gawking rather amusing. As I got closer one approached me, looking me up and down. ”How about you and I take my lunch break together?” I let my feline eyes trace over his own body, moving my head in a seductive fashion, before smiling at him. ”Only a beast would try and play with a dragon.”

[/color] My words confused him and he looked at me with that confusion. I smiled at him, my teeth easily seen. ”No man or beast has lived to tell the tale that he was around a wild dragon… Return to your pack, you beast, before you find yourself hurt.”[/color] She had learned in closely to him, her lips next to his ear as she moved past him and into the city.

She let her feline eyes glance back at him for a moment, he stood completely limp, looking at her, confusion in his eyes before he shook himself from the trance she seemed to have put him under.

".....Help...Ca-."A tall, very pale skinned, man gasped as he stared in horror of what was going to happen to him. Before him a hooded figure stared down into his eyes. The golden eyes of Eris looked up and down the bloodied male cowering before him. A chuckle could be heard, and Eris' hood dropped. His red hair fell down to his shoulders, and flowed in the air. The grin on his face was as evil the man who wore it. The deaths of countless lives could be seen dancing around in his eyes. He let his eyes close.

[red]"One more chance, strike me down,"[/red] he laughed as he dropped the man's sword at his feet. They had been at this for hours. Eris was clearly toying with the man, he had no chance of killing a shade. His effort was useless, but the shade loved watching the man attempt. As the man reached for the sword, Eris jumped back, opening his eyes. [red] "Come on. One more chance, this is it. Do it for your kids, or they will be next. Along with that pretty wife of your's. I can hear the screaming already," [/red]he chuckled. The man stood up, only to pass out from exhaustion, dropping the sword in front of him. [red]"Poor Jack, I really thought you had it in you. Oh well, guess your family is mine. Who first? The little one? Or your jewel of a son? How about the pretty wife of your's? So many options."[/red]

Eris watched as the man reached once more for the sword, attempting to scream, but he couldn't be heard by anyone, except his future murderer. Eris lifted his right hand, muttered something under his breath, and the sword flew twenty feet from the now helpless man. [red] "You lost your chance. I gave it to you, but you just don't seem to care for your family as much as I had hoped. Oh well, part of the game I suppose." [/red]He took two large strides toward the man, and placed his hand upon the broken man's leg. [red]"Jierda," [/red]Eris spat out, and a loud crack filled his ears. The man whimpered in pain, his leg lay there twitching, it had been broken. The man used his other foot to kick at the shade, but Eris was to fast for one who was as exhausted as this man.

Eris caught the man by his ankle, with a twist in his wrist he was able to snap the man's ankle. He let his leg drop down, he looked down upon the man who's legs laid awkwardly. Jack's screams began to grow much louder. [red] "Now, now. We can't be having the guards come, now can we? Hljödhr." [/red]The man's cries died away instantly. His lips were moving, his throat could even be seen vibrating, but nothing was happening. [red]"A little thing called magic." [/red] Eris lifted his hand once more "Brisingr," and soon the man caught fire. He watched as the man twitched, shook, and flailed in pain. [red] "Mercy is for the weak, your family is next," [/red]he laughed once more turning toward the city and striding toward it.

I could hear something, the sound of something asking for something. My slit eyes looked around for a moment, my nose went into the air slightly taking in the smell of blood and also the scent of the dead. My eyes narrowed and I stepped into the shadows, changing into the tiger I was and moving through the alleys. I follow the scent of blood and soon I could hear the voice coming. I was not close enough yet, but I knew the smell of death came from only one thing and that was a shade. ”Come on. One more chance, this is it. Do it for your kids, or they will be next. Along with that pretty wife of your's. I can hear the screaming already," I let out a low growl as I moved.

This shade was not even fun, it was cruel and I had met a few in my life, known for like this. They left some people alone… I moved slowly, my paws absorbing all the grounds as I slinked into the shadows and was finally able to hear even clearer. ”Poor Jack, I really thought you had it in you. Oh well, guess your family is mine. Who first? The little one? Or your jewel of a son? How about the pretty wife of your's? So many options."” This was disgusting! I worked for the riders and they would hear of this Shade, they would know of it and they would learn to find him. The riders listened to me on occasion and they did not like shades either unless they had some sense in their own minds.

I heard the man try and scream and I was about to move when the sword hit the wall that was not far from me. I grumbled mentally to myself and watched everything take place. ”You lost your chance. I gave it to you, but you just don't seem to care for your family as much as I had hoped. Oh well, part of the game I suppose." I watched as he moved towards the man quickly and then I heard the words quickly. ”Jierda," I heard the whimper and I growled slightly to myself. I watched as the man kicked the shade and I thought maybe he had more fight in him, but I was wrong and soon, I heard the snapping of bone. I could do little for the man, but I would fight this shade, I held not fear of the.

He yelled, my ears went back in pain slightly, I hated yelling, I could hear better then humans and I did not like it. ”Now, now. We can't be having the guards come, now can we? Hljödhr." I could not help but give a simple smile. ”He had already been caught, the slimy worm.”

[/color] I thought to myself as I watched as everything happened quickly. ”A little thing called magic." I did not have to speak it at least, I could use it without speaking. ”Brisingr," As the flame consumed the man, I wrinkled my nose in disgust and then I changed. My wild look was shown with ease and as he looked at the man and watched as he was about to turn. ”Mercy is for the weak, your family is next,"

”I don’t think that was a smart thing to do, friend?”[/color] I said, my voice holding a wild edge to it as I looked at the shade. My eyes held a amber like look, the slits were small and my teeth showed easily as I smiled at the shade, four large, sharp teeth that could cut deep into anything. My nails were sharp as well and I looked at him without a bit of fear in my eyes.

Eris felt the presence. He could feel the power, the energy. The raw hatred could be smelled from a mile away. While the lonely individual crept her way up toward Eris he made sure to finish his kill. He could smell the flesh of the man, he had died quiet some time ago. Burnt together, or from heart failure. Either way, he was gone. Another body to add to his count. As the individual made her way closer and closer, Eris paused, waiting for her to make her appearance. Waiting for this brave individual to come from the depths of the trees, to make themself known. As soon as the thought entered his head, he was granted his wish.

As the creature stepped from the tree line a small grin appeared on the shade's pale skin. His golden eyes looked up and down the being. This was not a human, he didn't expect any less. He knew that this had to be something more powerful. Someone able to put up a fight, and he had yet to meet the measly human who could hold their own against a shade. [orange]I don’t think that was a smart thing to do, friend?[/orange]

[Red]"It has been a while since I have seen one of your kind,"[/red] Eris noted as his eyes locked upon the teeth and the eyes. He was not completely sure what kind of creature it was, a were-being of some kind, he could make the assumption. Only one way to be sure. Mentally Eris began his attack, a sword much like his own appeared in Eris' mind, and he shot it indirectly into the brain of the being that stood before him. Time to see how powerful this creature really was. While this was happening Eris kept his eyes locked on the creature, he refused to let his guard down.

The Shade was something that was easy for anyone to figure out, the pale skin the eyes. It was nasty in my opinion, most needed to be put to rest, sent to the hell that they were from, but then again, I had no control over such a thing. Some were okay, they could control themselves and some were good actually because they held good souls, I had seen it, but this one, it was not one that needed to be kept in the land of the living. I looked at him, my dress was wild(not sure if you took note of it in the first post). My red hair flared out slightly around me as the small pack of trees shades us, my amber eyes moved over the nasty being before me.

My legs were spread slightly, my knife was still on my hip, I did not have to move it and you could see my legs up the slits in my dress. I did not have any foot wear on and honestly, didn’t care for such things. I watched as he turned towards me and I smiled back at him as he own smile seemed to touch his nasty little face. ”It has been a while since I have seen one of your kind," I tilted my head, a spark in my eye. Not many had seen a were-tiger before, we were not common in this land, only our small cousin the were-cat were more common then we were here and I had yet to even met one. I looked him over and soon, felt the attack touch my mind. I chuckled, feeling it trying to get past the barriers.

”Oh shade, your mental games will not work with me.”

[/color] I said as I waved my hand back and forth, as if I was swatting at a fly. I looked at him through split eyes and chuckled lightly again. ”There is a reason the riders have me around.”[/color] I said with a smile on my face as I sniffed the air slightly, taking in the scent of everything around me.

Eris grinned as he eyed the were-tiger. He couldn't help but do anything else. The anger began to flow through his body, the spirits were dancing around inside of him. He was ready for this. Ready for a challenge, ready to actually fight. Ready to draw the blood of a magical creature as powerful as the one who stood before him. He had no fear, he was a shade, he had nothing to fear. All he could do now was ready himself for a battle. As his mind attack failed, all he did was shake his head.

[orange]Oh shade, your mental games will not work with me.[/orange]

[red]"So you can defend a half-ass attack against your mind. Not to impressive. Let me see something. Show me something, don't waste my time,"[/red] Eris spat. He slowly started to laugh as the spirits inside of him started to grow more and more angry. Their rage was beginning to present itself in Eris. His eyes flicked around, looking from left to right. [red]"Show me!"[/red] He was yelling now.

An eruption came from Eris, two streams of fire emerged from him, circling around him now. He was beginning to give himself to the spirits once more. Giving them full control. letting them take over. He couldn't help it. They had not been released in quite some time. It was time to reach his full power. To feel that raw energy once more, the sheer power of evil. It flowed through him everyday, finally time to release it. This was no petty battle, this was going to be one of the best fights he had been in a while. No time for tricks.

I watched the mad-shade grin devilishly and honestly, I found it rather fascinating, mostly because I could feel the evil running through his body and honestly, it did not phase me. He was ready for anything and that was something I was beginning to like. I watched him carefully, my slit eyes moving over his pale body without even a flicker of fear or even worry. I watched as he shook his head slightly and I rolled my neck, the bones cracking slightly.

”So you can defend a half-ass attack against your mind. Not to impressive. Let me see something. Show me something, don't waste my time," I smiled at him for a moment and then chuckled slightly. This man was a funny, very funny in fact, of course, I found anyone’s anger rather funny. ”Show me!" I found it far from funny anything, of course, as the fire came, it was hot. I moved back slightly, but not in fear, mostly from the heat. She smiled, looked to the sky for a moment and then, let out a laugh before letting lots of water come around her and hitting the water.

”Oh calm down you big bad bag of stupidity.”

[/color] I laughed, looking at him with a toothy grin before she made the water swirl around me and then I looked at him for a moment, rolling my eyes. I walked around the forest, my hands on the trees, making them move. ”Such evil… Can’t even control it…”[/color] I chuckled slightly as I moved throughout the trees and touched them each. I let my slit eyes look at him, the color held the amber glow of a tiger and I let my claws sink into the tree lightly.

As the flames continued to circle Eris he let the anger continue to build up. He was itching to release his power, itching to take another life. He was already in a bloodlust, the man he had killed was one of many hundreds before him. Throughout his life, Eris would partake in the random string murdering. He had to fuel his anger, had to feed the spirits inside of him, and this was the easiest way to do that. To take the life of another, to release another spirit. As he waiting for the weretiger to make a move, he readied himself for anything.

As his attack was extingushed he laughed. She could use magic with much ease, not a problem. He was ready to see what else she could do, he was ready to test her powers. As she began to circle him he watched as she kept touching the trees as she circled him. He followed her with his eyes. He was tired of waiting. Tired of talking, it was pointless. Such a stupid conversation they were having.

He rolled the eyes to the back of his head and let fire spit out at the next tree infront of her. As it caught ablaze he just laughed. [red]"You done wasting my time yet?"[/red] It was clear that his patience was coming to an end. That he was ready to take her life. That he was ready to feel the hot blood of her in his hands. He was ready to stick her like a pig with his blade. But before all of that he had to render her useless. Had to strip every last ounce of hope from her body.

I watched with little interest in the shade as I moved about the trees, touching each and making them move, speaking in a language that was rough and hard on the ears for some. ”Pindahkan teman saya ... Anda adalah seperti hal yang indah.”

[/color][/b] My own voice was smooth over my lips, my tongue went over my teeth softly, touching the pointed ends of each tooth as I moved among the trees. As the flames died down, I looked at the shades and smiled slightly, looking at the trees as I walked and then I watched as one became a blazed. I put my hand on the flame and it was taken away.

”You done wasting my time yet?" I chuckled slightly at him, looking dead into his spirit filled eyes with my own feline ones. I moved among the trees some more, laughing slightly before I shrugged at him and looked among the trees for a moment. ”Oh, I did not know I was wasting your time, Setan.”[/color] I said, looking at him for a moment as I moved along the trees. I looked around for only a moment and then looked back at him with a smile on my face. ”Such waste of power.”[/color] I said to him as I moved back to my original place finally. ”Seperti buang-buang listrik, untuk Setan.”[/color][/b] I said to him as the vines came up around me, like snakes in the holes and dark, they moved around me, touching my feet and hands as they moved.

Eris started circling around, watching the weretiger. He was waiting for an attack. Waiting for a moment to counter, to strike back. He watched as she put out the tree that he had already caught on fire. He just continued to grin. If she refused to attack, then he would have to keep pushing her. He would find her threshold, the point where she would just snap, lash out, and in return Eris would kill her. Her blood was going to be spilled today, he was so sure of it. So sure of himself, and the powers he possessed. He had yet to meet one who could overpower him.

As she spoke out in a very strange tongue, Eris ignored it. He was not going to question this language, nor did he care what she had said. It was not the ancient language, so he had no need to worry. He knew these beings had random powers, but a new language was nothing special.

[orange]"Oh, I did not know I was wasting your time, Setan.” [/orange]Finally something he could understand.

[red]"You are, I have a family to tend too,"[/red] Eris chuckled as he pointed toward the burnt corpse beside him. The body was still hot, the fire had just gone out. Jack had been dead for quite some time now. His family was next.

[orange]"What a waste of power."[/orange]

[red]"You have no idea."[/red] He watched as vines came from the earth and started to surround her, it had to be some sort of defense. He just laughed, as he continued to circle her a dark cloud appeared around his feet. It began to rise up toward his knees, as it circle around him a hissing could be heard. The heads of snakes would pop out randomly, lunging at nothing but the air.

It took a lot more then meaningless tricked to gain my anger, my family had found that out the hard way… It took them months to even get the emotion to come from me. I watched him with cat like eyes as I moved through the trees, touching each and getting a response from each that most would wonder. I looked him dead in the eyes, smiled a large smile, my sharp teeth easy to see. As I spoke, he did not seem to care, which was good, he could not be bothered and since I really didn’t have to speak anything to us my power, I guess one could say that I had some advantage.

"You are, I have a family to tend too," I put my finger up and smiled, moving it back and forth, looking at him and then at the burnt corpse. ”I am afraid you will not be tending to any family, Setan.”

[/color] I said, smiling at him as the vines licked at my feet slightly, a few even coming up my shoulder and my hands stroking them softly. I looked at him for a moment, the power coming from him was great, but he lacked his own control and the riders would need to be informed of him, which would not be hard, I had learned many things while I had been here in this land and I knew how to call them. ”You have no idea." I chuckled slightly, watching as the dark cloud appeared, along with snakes.

”I doubt you will get much of anything done, Setan… It would be best to move on from these lands and find a new place to mess with,”[/color] I was not one to protect others, but I did not care for these dark spirit filled bodies, they caused trouble and the riders did not like them either. I was sure a rider was close enough to the land, I almost always knew of the elders and their location and I could easily call upon them with the ancient power. As the snakes lunged at the air, the vines did not move to defend, like me, they sat thee.

Eris felt the spirits flow through him, circling his body as would a snake on it's prey. Ready to make the kill, but instead of killing the one being strangled, it would kill the one facing him down. A weretiger, the power from the being was immense, but so was the power emitting from Eris. He could hold his own, he had no fear. But he could sense none in this oppressor. This had never happened before, anyone he had faced held some fear, especially after the discovery of his well-being. He was a shade, the very word brought chills to some civilians. Not a common being at all, but a very rare one who possess great power. He laughed as the weretiger spoke out again.

[orange]”I am afraid you will not be tending to any family, Setan.” [/orange]

[red]"That is where you are wrong, my friend. I suggest you keep about your own business. Move along. You have no say in this matter,"[/red] he said as he spat at the corpse of the charred man. A thin grin still remained on his face. Stretched out over his pale skin. [red]"Now be a good little one, and continue about your day. No use in spilling more blood then necessary. Unless, of course, you wish to be losing yours."[/red]

[orange]"I doubt you will get much of anything done, Setan… It would be best to move on from these lands and find a new place to mess with."[/orange]

[Red]"That is where you are wrong. I will continue about my business, doing as I please. I have been roaming this earth far longer then you can imagine, don't test me, little one."[/red] The sickening grin still spread across his face. The black cloud continued to circle it's way up his body, it was now at his lower stomach. The snakes still snapping out at nothing. His power was building up.
