I'm pretty sure every single writer has thought this about themselves at least a few times, and for some of us, it's a very crushing (and totally untrue) mentality that can cause terrible stress and unfortunately, even lead us to quit writing entirely.
If you need a well-deserved confidence boost, please read this. Yes, the deviant meant it for artists, but the same completely applies to writers as well. And don't just read it once, save it and check it out every time you're thinking negatively about your writing- or your art, if you're an artist. I think it works for any sort of creative expression.
So far every person I've shown it to has been inspired, so I hope you will be too. =) As corny as that sounds. XD
This is actually eye-opening, to know that other people feel similarly about their own work while holding other people in high regard that they later look back on and think of them as bad.
I've actually had a simialr experience to that recently and it's actually kind of refreshing to read that I'm not the only one.... It actually does kinda wanna make me go back and look at some of the stuff I've already got written down to see if I can get more from it..
