It had been over a week since Dantie's rejection in Ilirea, and only three days after Ed's death. Fire burned in Dantie's heart as he wished for revenge, for those who had killed her to die in pain and misery. To watch them all suffer at his hands, but at the moment he had more pressing matters. He had to go back to Ellesmera and sign up to become one of the elven military now for a few years of service saying the riders had not taken him in. They had turned him down as a ward after no dragon would hatch for him and so he had no other choice but to return to his homeland to get a job at what he did best, killing, and at this point in his life he wanted nothing more.
All the time he had spent on horseback riding back to the great forests he had planned on how he would track down and avenge Ed's death. Even the woman in purple said that she would help him when he was strong, whatever that meant he was not sure, but he knew he would have friends when the need arised.
As Dantie entered the capital of his homeland he went to the nearest tavern and asked where he could sign up for the military and was quickly showed on his way to the barracks not so far away from the castle. Once there he was told to wait while they fetched someone to see him. A. Dantie now ruled the body, and nothing could stop him. He was jealous of Niko, and hated the little angel who had made no attempt to see him before he left. All those who he had thought would have been there for him had proven that they would not, and it did not strike well with him, only the woman with purple hair had been there for him after Ed's death and the riders rejection.
Slowly Dantie turned as he heard the door behind him open to admit the person who he assumed would be helping him join the elven military.
