The girl that slipped through the sidestreets was small. Very small. Only five foot tall on a good day. She was tiny. She had pale skin the color of ivory that seemed like it had a subtle glow and shimmer in the sunlight. But her eyes were a sight to see. They were completely diffrent, but they were hard. Curious and cynically amused at the same time. She wore a black top, black skirt, and black flats like what a ballerina would wear. Rather understated for a wardrobe today. Not much color at all, considering how much there could be. She wore little jewlery, just a necklace with a key. She walked softly, her footsteps nearly silent, like a cats however ironic that may be. Her delicate face was shielded from the sides by her long hair. she had a thin belt around her hips that had a scabbard attached to it. If one underestimated this woman, they wouldn't after a few moments. A sword hung at her hip, a dagger was attached to a leather garter that was around her thigh. Her soft footsteps drew her to the marketplace, her feet moving slowly through it. Mismatched eyes scanned, looking at all the oddities that were for sale. Curious, that's what she was. And she was also scanning the place for danger, for things that could hurt her. But she wasn't watching her back very well and anyone could sneak up behind her. She padded forward, her eyes having settled on a freak show set up. A two headed calf, a man juggling swords, a fire dancer and a sword swallower. She smirked as she came forward, the man playing with daggers amusing her greatly. "Sir, I'm sorry to inform you that your skills are weak." She said, her lilting voice carrying its cadence over the crowds clapping. The man looked at her with curiosity. "And who might you be little lady. I doubt you could do better." He said, his booming voice carrying to the small woman. Ivory smirked. She walked...no..it wasn't really walking. It was more like she was dancing and gliding but it wasn't that either. It was graceful, like how an elf would walk. But everyone here could see she wasn't one of the Fair Folk. She was too small. She took the daggers from the man, looking at the target, where he had only managed to hit the rim. "Put this apple on your head and go stand over there." She said, handing him the small fruit rather roughly as she shoved him towards the wall. She knew that he knew dagger throwing was dangerous and it was often hard to hit your target, as the weight was often unbalanced in weaponry these days. She flipped the dagger in her hand a couple times, turned and chucked it at the apple with an aim that was deadly. The apple split open, running all over the man's face. "I see your doubts were based on nothing." She said, a smirk lighting up her lips once again as she hopped down from the platform on which he stood. She nodded to one of the people standing by the platform as she moved on, her feet carrying her around the market. Maybe she was looking for a horse, maybe she wasn't. Maybe she was looking for a friend. Maybe she wasn't. Honestly, she was just.....looking for companionship. And she'd take it where she could find it.
