Josk frowned. This would be a more difficult task than he had anticipated. Not only did this imbecile know Niko, it thought he was Niko. Yes, he and Niko were twins. Yes, at one time they had been identical. Yes, they still possessed many similarities. But Josk was several inches shorter, not to mention infinitely paler than his younger brother. A person does not change that much in any length of time short of decades and Josk doubted it had been that long since this Dantie had seen Niko. The kid barely looked old enough to have graduated from Ilirea and Niko had hardly left that city since his own graduation. Ilirea was big, but not that big. What was with the ridiculously intricate armor it was wearing?
As it drew near he shoved it away in disgust – displaying a physical strength that few suspected Josk possessed – and sending the boy staggering back several feet.
“You mistake him for someone he is not, Dantie.”
Josk smirked at the boy as it righted itself. “No, Amelia, he is simply an idiot. You can tell by the useless armor he is wearing and how completely unobservant he is. Most intelligent people that have met Niko realize after only a moment or two that I am not my twin. And most intelligent people that I have encountered do not wear a full suit of armor outside of battle.” He gestured towards the chair. “Take a seat, Dantie. And for future reference, do not approach me with such familiarity again. Whatever relationship you possessed with my brother does not apply to us. Do I make myself clear?”

As Dantie is shoved back and the woman who brought him in explains it is not Niko Dantie is caught off guard. He was not aware Niko had a brother, much less a twin. As josk starts smirking and bragging Dantie laughs as he brushes himself off. Ah but you see you have already revealed to me more then I have to you. For example Amelia's name. then turning to Amelia he says Quite a beautiful name if I say so myself. Anyways If you have not noticed where we are, this could very well turn into a battle, all depends on a point of view really. Everyone pays attention to the big stupid man in fullplate armor, while everyone looks at him there pockets are emptied and there house cleaned out. Dantie smiles as he looks to Nikos brother. Perfectly. Clear as Amelias eyes are green. Dantie says with a smile as he takes a seat, though he is ill at ease he hides it by making comments like the one he just did.

*Amelia smiles as they both speak, Josk speaking truly and confirming much of the same problems in Dantie that Amelia had seen before, acting on a lack of information with faulty logic. Now, knowing that Josk had a twin, it was possible to mix them up in a glance, perhaps, but Josk's reasoning about the twins' differences was sound. His speaking on the armor was also spot on to Amelia's thinking, but she did not really think about his declaration that Niko's and Dantie's relationship was not Josk's as well. Simple, quick, a little proud but not incorrect is a good description of Josk's speaking, at least Amelia thinks so.
Dantie starting off with Josk saying her name amuses Amelia, and his attempts to flirt make her cackle, inwardly at first but openly by the comment on her eyes. His reference to battle being possibly close wasn't far off, but it wasn't in a way that she assumed he meant. His attempt at a plan for the uses of him as a distraction had some merit, she supposed, but not here in the forest of the Elves, especially not in the Captial. Such a plan might have been used by the fools of the Osilon company, or perhaps in the Human realm, but not by Malakian. He could be an interesting distraction in other ways, however, but it was more likely that she would keep her offer to Josk about letting Dantie be used in the experiments of his lab.
Her cackling ends shortly, her head shaking slightly as she begins to speak.*
Truly, Dantie? Are you drowning in two luminescent pools of emerald? Captivated by their stare? Perhaps you will compare my body, my existence to the Capital itself? Strong, Beautiful, and filled with an animal vibrancy and life that is irresistable? Your flattery has been delivered before.
*She didn't bother pausing, not willing to think how those had worked out before, and continues.*
As for your proposition, sadly no one will be around to try it shortly. Especially once Josk starts.
Josk made a look of disgust at the boy as it proceeded to try showering his lieutenant with obvious flattery. What did it think it was, a ladies’ man? He did not join his lieutenant in her deprecating cackling – such a display was beneath him as an interrogator – but he could not help but at least share her amusement. He couldn’t remember the last time he had faced the arrogance of youth in an interrogation room. It was also worth noting that the boy was directing most of its attention to Vencari – almost ignoring the fact that Josk was still there and was the person it should be addressing. As Vencari gave her scathing reply, the mage kept his eyes on the foolishly smiling boy. “Do not sell yourself short, my dear Amelia. He clearly thinks your beauty exceeds all else. Yea, neither the sun nor the moon nor the heavenly stars can compare to you. Surely you are the greatest beauty this naïve brat has ever set eyes upon.” His expression remained completely neutral and his tone monotonous. Nothing in his stance, gaze or aura betrayed his thoughts or intentions, but his words made clear that he was utterly unimpressed by this youth.
He strode forward with calm, measured tread and made a lazy circle around the boy. “You are not the first who thought he could gain breathing room by flattering her… you are certainly one of the most pathetic and uncultured swine that has tried,” he said as he circled. His fingers briefly brushed the back of the boy’s armor, the mage flitting well out of reach before it could touch him. “You are not even the most attractive. So let us dispense with your embarrassing bravado, hm?” He completed his circle and slammed his palms flat on the table. “Do you have any idea how much trouble you are causing me right now? I have important work to do and your stupidity is keeping me from it. Why the hell are you making me waste precious time – forcing this company to lose valuable progress?” He lowered his voice and leaned slightly closer to the boy. “Why should I not kill you where you sit and leave your precious armor and sword to rust?”

Dantie looks at the woman named Amelia as she begins to laugh. And is curious until he hears the two of them explain. Funny as flattery was not what I intended? Are you sure it is not the two of you who need to be looked at? I was speaking of how everyone pays attention to the one that is most out of place. Its so obvious any elf could see it. But I guess your work is so important that logic has escaped you. I do hope you are not working with anything that can blow up. you might actually cause some damage to this establishment. Dantie says not moving from his spot after Josks outburst. As for me being good looking and such I hope you are not checking me out. I would rather be with the wild hogs I have seen in the woods this past year hunting this establishment down. At least they can put on a good show. Dantie says with a smile. Sure he was young, sure he was foolish. But was it not the youth that held most of the magic in their culture., Dantie thought to himself. Turning back to Josk he says with not a hint of mirth in his features. Down dog, or end up like the others that tried such tactics. If you wish to act like an animal I will treat you like one. Otherwise act like a dam elf and have some dignity, no wounder the humans do not respect us. Sit dog. He says waiting to see if the mad man did anything. If so he would resort to his training and let what was still fresh in his mind flow through him like water.
