Cyrus was instantly drained by the effort of transmuting the Sand into gold and Sapphire. It was plain to see on his face, he didnt really want to admit his true reason for giving her the Necklace he crafted. So he lied, well Not lied more didnt tell her all the reasons. He sat back and leaned against the tree and sighed before saying "Your the first half elf's I have ever seen and I figure its a decent enough way of apology for embarrassing you...".
Cyrus at this point brought out another apple and ate it, Before having a drink of water from his waterskin. In reality he was a tad smitten with Theia, He didnt know wheather it was a crush or true love but he didnt care and thought about how absurd it was to have wasted his energy forming such a trinket. he didnt show this in his face however, his eyes were closed and his face was still. At this point he didnt care about theia's reaction to his answer. He wanted to sleep and would do so once Theia herself fell asleep.
Her concern for the half-elf was growing. The lack of energy was obvious in his face and his eyes, which were starting to close and re-open as he tried to stay conscience. She stayed patient with him despite the fact that her mind was racing. She was flustered too. She didn’t know why she was so flattered that he had crafted and gave her a gift, which was a rare thing for her.
There were only two instances in her life where she had received a gift. The first was her mentor by the force she called fate. The second was the golden fan that she carried everywhere, plus it was the only thing that her “father” had ever personally picked out for her. Now here was a third instance, the necklace that was still held in her hands.
She couldn’t help but feel a bit overwhelmed, especially since she never expected someone that she just met to go so far into apologizing to her. She doubted that the reason that he gave her was completely true, but even then… she bit her lip softly as she looked back at the necklace. No one had ever tried apologizing to her. Her father had not, her long-lost-or-dead mother, those of her clan, and those she had met throughout her life.
At this point Cyrus was finished his drink of water. Keeping her gaze focused hard on the necklace and keeping herself from tearing up. She didn’t understand this need to cry and the sensation of pain and happiness that engrossed her. First of all she didn’t want to Cyrus to see her expression. She felt it would be a smack in his face to show the sadness that was threatening to reveal itself. He probably did this to make her smile.
Unaware that Cyrus was attempting to hide his own thoughts and feelings by closing his eyes and keeping his face slightly hidden from her, she let out a small smile. It was the first genuine smile that had come across her face in awhile. “Thank you”, she said. Her voice was soft but it was easy to tell that she really was grateful. She then finally took at glace at the male half-elf after a few seconds to see that he looked like he was almost asleep. She let out a small huff but smiled as she did so. Casually she put the necklace on and adjusted it.
“It’s about time we rested”, she relaxed into the palm tree behind her as she slowly attempted to return to her previous mindset. Her violet eyes looked at him one more time before she closed her eyelids. Her body automatically readjusted itself so she would sleep well. Now was the time to rest. There would be enough time tomorrow to figure more things out.

Cyrus smiled as he was able to hid his true intention from Theia. He closed his eye's and let himself be embraced by sleep. He Dreamt of travelling the world... this was a recurring dream and he hated it. He was alone in this dream almost constantly. But this was different, Someone was in the dream with him, it was almost human. he couldnt see them however, it was is if they were blurred. Only one detail of the person was clear. it was the necklace he had forged... moments ago. Cyrus guessed it was Theia from this information. though he was certain about his guess, he still couldnt see her clearly... his sleeping body had decided to move next to theia...

********************************************************************** It didn’t take long for Cyrus to fall asleep. Theia could sense this, thanks to her sensitivity to the energy around her. Although this ability wasn’t the cause of her having a hard time falling back asleep; to the tranquility that she once had harnessed. Instead her mind was plagued with fragments of thoughts. Her mind couldn’t put together the grand scheme of whatever her mind was trying to think its way through. It bothered her and kept her from finding comfort against the palm tree. She was annoyed but to an onlooker it would seem that she was just really grumpy. Every now and then she would let loose that classical irritated mumble in slow and drawn out manner. Then huffing afterwards, as if it was improper to grumble without a huff following.
Thiea knew that she needed to rest, although it didn’t seem that having that knowledge helped her any. Another grumble was released as she gave up on trying. Her stubbornness had caved in to her laziness and the irritation she held for her hazy mind. Her last resort was to gaze up at the sky until at least her body decided it was time for sleep. Slowly she found several constellations and tried combining the fabricated images into some sort of picture containing them all. An hour passed like this, and her eyes were finally beginning to close. Relief washed over her.
Right at that moment Cyrus had decided to move closer to her person. While she took notice of it… just barely, she didn’t care. All she wanted was sleep at this moment. She would be unaware of reality for just a small amount of time.
Cyrus's dream changed... Now he was on a battlefield, slaying Kull, Humans And Elve's alike. Almost for no reason, he didnt know why he was fighting but he was and he was winning. he had his claymore and was using it to kill and maim. It was only after a few minutes of Psychotic slaying did he realize that Cyrus was fighting on a Pyramid. And all of the enemys were trying to get to the top. Hesitantly he turned expecting someone to be there and sure enough. Sat Theia on a golden throne, He climbed the Pyramid and with the logic of a dreamer he turned his arm and blasted the incoming enemys to death with magic before embracing Theia. In his physical body there was a small smile on his face. His hand moved to Theia's and held it.
Theia was unaware of the dream Cyrus was having… All that she was aware of at the moment was her slow breathing. Her mind was nearly idle. So thoughts came sluggardly, and her mindless counting was no different. Now what was she counting… small bright lights. Yes, all that she could see was the flickering of small lights.
Her mind slowly adjusted and strengthened the image that she was seeing in her own dream, to reveal that the lights were actually fireflies. Realization settled in rather nicely, she calmly watched as the bugs danced across the forest. They failed in lighting up the area like the sun but they washed the atmosphere so that it appeared mystical with the grand, ancient and luxuriated greenwood.
A bit mindful of herself, she found that she was rather happy, but the fireflies where not the only reason behind this. Something or someone was behind this change of her usual aloof temperament. Something told her that she wasn’t alone, that she had gained some kind of companionship. She didn’t know if it was a pet, a more intelligent being, or some sort of spirit. Oddly… she was comfortable with it and expecting it to appear soon.
She lay lazily in between a large branch and a tree, it was basically cradling her. It felt unsurprisingly comfortable. She hummed to herself softly a song that she had little knowledge of at the moment. Since when did she hum a tune?
Meanwhile it was at this moment that Cyrus’s hand had taken a hold of one of her hands. She didn’t move or feel disturbed by the interaction and just slept on like she hadn’t noticed a thing. In her dream she continued to hum several tunes sedately. So far she really enjoyed the pleasant story that her own mind was unfolding.
Cyrus sighed contently as his dream changed once more, This time he was in a forest, running... He didnt know why but he really had to go in the direction he was running and he had to go that way Fast. He burst into a clearing where a snake-like monster was attacking Theia and it was winning... Cyrus needlessly jumped in and slew it with his claymore decapitating the monster. He awoke startled by his dream in the night, He noted His hand was holding Theia's. He honestly didnt care, He was busy calming himself down. it wasnt natural to think about girls he had just met... at least he assumed it wasnt. Cyrus fixed the blanket over Theia and went back to sleep,
When he awoke it was just past dawn, and it wasnt too hot yet, Regardless Cyrus began preparing the Duo's breakfast, He brought out two fish and lit a fire. He then lifted the fish above the flames with magic holding and twisting them almost constantly. while he did so he rubbed salt into the fish, Once done, he cleaned his hands he moved the blanket from Theia so she didnt get too warm. He waited for the fish to cook properly before putting them on Individual Rocks. The rocks were about head sized and held the fish quite well, the fish were quite large by Elven standards.
