Levithan was indeed happy when the gears in Ishiyo's mind began to work, though he did not know what on exactly he knew it had something to do with the riders. " Maybe I have made her doubt there true intentions." Leviathan thought as he studied her face, the face that always led to her eyes.

" So are you trying to break our deal just a few seconds after you made it Ishiyo?" Leviathan's eyes turned a dangerous color red as she spoke about having to earn respect, and about equality." I can assure you it is not the rode you wish to take if you wish to become a rider. But if you wish to be my slave for the rest of your life like the others then keep going down this trail you are taking now." and with a smile, and a seductive voice she merely shot to his original question. " Figures a mortal would jump topics so quickly. And it is wise of you to sleep with a sword under your bed, though it is not me you have to fear." Leviathan said as his hand went out towards her weapon, trying to see who strong it was. Once satisfied it would be good enough for her at the time he finished answering. " Another bargain, what is it you have in mind, and what do you have to offer?" Levithan asked as he waited for her reply he told her of how he would have destroyed her if she had not chosen to join him.

Levithan turned to one of the so called lights in the sky she spoke of and then looked at her. " Those lights you see in the sky, most are either dead or to far away to matter. The moon is the closet thing your planet has to it. Nothing else until you get to the stars. It is a great expanse of nothing, that some even say the dead gods sleep in." Levithan explained as he turned back to look at Ishiyo's face. She was tired he could see it clearly written on her face, " Would you like it if you were in your bed now?" Levithan asked as he put a masking spell that fit like a dome a few feet above there heads to the building so none on the outside could see them yet they could see everything perfectly. " But remember what I do for you, you will eventually have to repay in some shape form or way." Levithan said as he waited for her decision. " And if you do decide yes I need to know what it looks like so I may summon it." Levithan said, " Unless you would like to sleep inside surround by rock." Levithan said as he waited for her decision to be made.

" Not even hermits can escape there past, nor can a king. That is the way of life, when fate wants you it knocks on your door no matter what you do, or how simple of a life you choose to have." Levithan stated to her as she told him of how she may have to move because of the shade. " And why would you have to move, though a place much more open to the world would be nice, it is not necessary. I could easily kill the shade as could you if you stopped fearing it." Levithan smiled an evil grin as he finished answering. " Or you could come to my home, but I warn you now it is not so pleasant a place for mortals."

Ishiyo's brow and eyelids fell over her eyes and she turned to look over at the fiend seemingly bothered what what she had said. Break the deal? How was it she knew something he did not, or was Leviathan simply incapable of conceiving where his raw power and commanding aura didn't immediately earn him respect by any who saw him. She could respect he was quite powerful, but as an entity what had he done? Not slain her? That didn't earn you points if you were mortal; maybe Leviathan thought if did because people believed demons would do it and he hadn't. If the beast could make this any less clear she was sure he'd find a way.

The creature's interest in her sword gave her leave to turn her eyes away, giving her a moment to simply let the annoyance at being threatened--again--depart. Slowly she drew the sword out and let the fiend examine it. Doubtful a demon would have an allergic reaction to its edge, but that wouldn't keep her from observing the way Leviathan interacted with the world. He might be talkative now, but he wasn't exactly versed in hiding how easily he could turn on her. Ishiyo wanted to have something to use against him when that time came.

As she slid the blade away again, the red-eyed Elf turned to look back at the demon as he replied to her joke. An immortal Straight Man. Did demons have a sense of humor that didn't involve death? "Offer? It was a joke," she replied, "I have nothing to offer you. You are a powerful demon. You don't need money. You don't need my sword or what material possessions I own. You want to feed off my emotions, and you have that. Maybe you want my soul, but I cannot give it." Straightening to her fullest, Ishiyo met the fiend's eyes, "What could I possibly offer you?

"I've all ready promised the next encounter with the Shade-- my fear, my pain." She tore her eyes away from his as she looked out into the night sky. "As grateful as I am our arrangement will help me stand in that thing's presence, and that you didn't kill me for sport, you should be grateful as well, Leviathan," Ishiyo said as she turned an eye back to him. "If I slip again you'll have a steady stream of pain for a few hours. Days. Maybe weeks if I angered someone of real importance. If I don't there'll be many more chances. Joining my enemies only gets me killed sooner; your enjoyment would be shorter lived." Always fun to talk about her enduring suffering was such a benefit. Who didn't love pain? Oh, right, she didn't. Leviathan must be thrilled though. No surprise there.

A smile crept back onto her lips as she sat beside the demon. His question--or offer, as it were--to fetch her bed amused her. Maybe it shouldn't. It probably wasn't that funny, but she was that exhausted. "I appreciate your offer, Leviathan," Ishiyo responded, treating him with the respect of a stranger offering aide, "but it is too early to begin accumulating debts."

She considered his ultimatum and shifted to face Leviathan with her body more while they sat there together. "We can stay out here longer, if you like." Maybe he thought she was weak, but she'd slept on the forest floor plenty of times throughout her life. Even if she fell asleep on the roof it wouldn't bother her--unless it began raining, of course.

There were a few more things yet for them to discuss, it seemed. Her idle thoughts of relocating, for instance. "I do not fear the Shade," per se, "except as a dangerous opponent." She also feared what it is and how they came to be. Ishiyo could still feel the humid air of the forest and the writhing darkness in the chamber from twenty years ago. Leviathan was stronger, but what she witnessed was like touching evil that night. An evil that could take even the unwilling. All the more reason she'd need to remain on guard now that the chase had begun again.

In order to keep from dwelling on those thoughts again, she returned to what Leviathan had said. "What is your home like? Is it how others describe it?" The fiend was of the mind to tell her how what she'd heard was wrong about demons and the Riders; perhaps he would explain how ideal and fanciful his world was. Really, it was a bit late for that having just warned her it wasn't "pleasant," but she wouldn't doubt he might try.

Leviathan looked at Ishiyo with a confused look as she told him she was joking. " Mortals have more to offer then they believe." Was all he said, but he let it hang that they had much more potential then what she believed.

As she described all the ways she could be killed he laughed at her nievity. " there is always another to take your spot if you are to become to boring some, do not get to high and mighty mortal. " Leviathan said as she then refused his offer to get her bed. To him it made no difference but he was surprised she did not want it though she had good reasons not to.

" You do not want it to be what I like,otherwise there would be no riders, many of the wild dragons feel the same way about this as well." Leviathan commented as he laid his body down on the cold roof, instantly the stones around him warmed up. " My home is very dark and dismal, just the way I like it.Screams of agony from those being torched who broke our agreements, and lakes of fire. It is a beautiful place. Walls are made of the bones of our enemies even." Leviathan smiled as hi eyes looked up into the sky, but were seeing really his home. " So I guess we will sleep here tonight then unless you would like to jump into your house...or at least try to with the little energy you have." Leviathan said as he stretched out his wings, not saying that he would keep her warm throughout the night, but not being cruel in any way either.

"Telling a girl she's replaceable doesn't strike me as being 'equal,'" Ishiyo commented with a small smile. She didn't like being dismissed so easily out of the fiend's concern, but she couldn't expect him to care about her on any level like another person. Nevertheless, if he wanted 'equality' she wasn't the only one that needed to loosen up; Leviathan was going to have to behave more Elven and that meant not tossing her aside because she bored him. Equivalent exchange, right? So far they seemed to be doing fairly well for their first meeting.

As Leviathan happily described his home as being about as pleasant as people described the underworld, Ishiyo did her best to listen to every word and not drift off. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," the young Elf repeated the colloquialism she'd read once. Maybe his home was beautiful--to him. To Ishiyo she would probably find it 'unpleasant' as Leviathan had said. Sounded like a predator's home, which was fitting for a demon.

With his declaration they'd be staying, though she could help herself down if she chose, Ishiyo turned and scooted back from the edge. She looked at where the fiend's wing lay near her and then looked over at Leviathan's face. Opting not to impose on him, she lay back near, but not on him. "This will be fine." Not the most comfortable, of course. Ishiyo was confident she could have gotten inside on her own, but Leviathian had all ready confirmed he had a lower opinion of 'mortals' than he let on with all the 'equality' talk. It seemed an opportunity to show him his expectations were wrong; or if his subtle hints were a test than perhaps she'd demonstrate her resolve.

After a moment she inquired, "Leviathan, what is it you dream about?" Staring up into the night sky was only so fulfilling--or, as he might suggest, oppressing. Surely the creature had something in life he wanted. He didn't sound like the sort living day to day with no goal in sight. Maybe he dreamed of filling his corner of the underworld with damned souls. Maybe there was one soul in particular he pined for. Ishiyo's curiosity hadn't disappeared because she wasn't sitting in his lap.

Leviathan looked at Ishiyo with a raised eyebrow as he said " Would you rather me lie to you. I am very good at that, though it is not a sign of equality." Leviathan commented. Once he was done describing his home to her he smiled at her comment. " Indeed it is. For example i find your home unimaginably boring and undecorated, you should have trophy's of your deeds lieing around, not dust." Leviathan laughed at his own joke for he knew she did not collect the same trophy's he did. " Perhaps I should go fetch your trophy from the floor and stuff him for you." Leviathan said as he looked over the edge of the building.

As She laid down besides his wing he could not help but laugh. " Stubborn and stupid." He said under his breath as he looked at her as she asked him what he dreamed about. " I dream about war, pain, misery, bloodshed. Off burying my foes beneath my feet." Levithan said as he kept his gaze on her to see her reaction.

A soft rumble hummed in the back of her throat as she lay on the roof, staring up at the stars. "Just as I expected. Not so different after all," she breathed, doubting the demon understood or cared. The different lay in his lust for such terrors, whereas his new Elven companion would happily be rid of it.

She rolled her head to the side to look over at Leviathan as she lay on her back. "I only have one dream. It is the same dream every night," though some details changed at times, the overall experience remain. A smile returned to her lips, but as it'd happened inside the mirth did not reach her red eyes. "I think you will like it. It may not be the best you have ever tasted, but there should be enough to enjoy." She'd been brought up seventy-five years in Ilirea. Ishiyo had been taught discipline, ethics, and how to conduct herself in the world. On the night that spawned her everlasting nightmare all those negative emotions Leviathan loved had come out. It haunted her, but not nearly as much as the events themselves; those emotions replayed in her mind along with the images that came with them. Yes, Leviathan would love those.

Rolling her head back so she gazed up at the sky again, Ishiyo was quiet. Ishiyo loved to talk, but even she enjoyed taking a moment to think or just observe the world around her. A moment to breathe.

" O I will enjoy this dream of yours." Leviathan asked her as she turned back up to the sky. " You do not expect me to enjoy from this distance do you?" Leviathan asked as he tried to get her attention. " Come over here." Leviathan said as his hand wrapped around her figure and he pulled her over towards him, so that she was now had one of his wings underneath her and one of his arms around her. " Now that is better no?" He asked as he closed his eyes and went to sleep for the night.

Ishiyo blinked, the eyebrows angled down over her nose fell lower at Leviathan's question. What? There was some sort of distance relationship to his feeding now? Should she have asked if she'd be sitting in his lap every time? A bit intimate for two people that barely knew one another; one of them being a demon. Leviathan had behaved himself, yes, but that didn't mean...

The mercenary drew in a quick breath when Leviathan reached over and wrapped an arm about her to slide her closer. When he set her down she was initially cold with concern, really not sure about being so physically close to a demon. After a second or two, however, she did have to admit he was much warmer than the roof she'd been resting on. How quickly she became comfortable laying there with his arm about her remain worrisome, however. Leviathan had cheerfully "reminded" her not to trust him too much; she wasn't about to forget it.

The fiend hadn't even bothered to wait for a reply. Ishiyo silently sighed and let her eyes fall shut. Dealing with touchy-feeling men was one thing; laying in the arm of a demon was something completely new. Still, with a calming breath, she left her self drift to sleep. What a strange 'understanding' they had.

Once she fell asleep Leviathan had plunged into her nightmares feeding off of her fear until he was full, then he hid her from her dreams and took her into his own, showing her the empire she could have with him by her side. The heights she could achieve, as all races became one. Leviathan wanted Ishiyo not only to want to be part of his plans, but for her to want to for fill them. And he kept showing her glorious images hiding her from her evils the night.

When morning came Leviathan was the first to awake, and was rudely woken up as well. When he awoke he found that Ishiyo had gotten much more comfortable in his arms then he had expected, and the sheath of her blade was digging into his knee. " Wake up." Leviathan said into her ear softly, as he wished for the new day to begin, it was just before sunrise. " Though he did not move her as he waited for her to awake you could see very clearly he was uncomfortable with the feeling of someone being so close to him. None loved a demons company after all.

When she finally awoke Leviathans body was still pressed up against hers, keeping her warm from the early mornings icy grip. None had dared disturb them the night, but today was an entirely different matter. " Did you enjoy your dream last night?" Leviathan asked her as he saw Ishiyo's eyes open up to the first rays of light which caught in hers as did his eyes.

Ishiyo's red eyes cracked open as she lay against the warmth of the fiend against her. She blinked once before tilting her head back to look up at Leviathan's face as if it were an unexpected dream. The haze, however, vanished as suddenly as the dawn rose and swept over the land. Her lips parted.

Lowering her chin, she saw as well as felt where a hand lay on the beast's "mortal" body. Pressing her lips shut she pulled herself off and away from the fiend. Turning as she rose, Ishiyo sat with her knees drawn up, resting her forearms atop them. The warmth of his body faded quickly in the cool morn. Only a conscious thought kept her from a slight shiver at how brisk even a slight breeze was away from him.

It wasn't proper. Besides, he was a demon. Even if he was attractive... Leviathan wouldn't understand even if she dared.

What had happened last night was blur, but as she sat there thinking on it, Ishiyo found herself confused and then upset. The woman's back straightened as she turned her head to look over a shoulder at the beast. "Was that you?" Had Leviathan been the one in her dreams last night? Dreams not of her making.

Leviathan stood up and stretched his mighty form as Ishiyo stood, what he was not prepared for was the anger in her voice. " Who else would it have been?" Leviathan aid with a confused look on his face, why did it matter if he was in her dreams or not, he was feeding and wanted to show her what she could have instead of those sour dreams of regret. Why did she wish for regret? Leviathan wondered as he stood his ground waiting for her tirade. He spoke calmly to her knowing he had done nothing wrong, at least in his mind he had not.

As they rose birds began to awaken as did the city and he began to become restless, wanting to be free of the city and the dwellings of the riders.

Ishiyo turned forward, staring out at the rising sun. Her short, black hair swished and settled above her shoulders from the movement. "Why would you show me that, Leviathan? I don't want power. I want to make a difference," so that much she could relate to in the dream, "but how can you show me--" She stopped, trying to grasp a concept in the dream that didn't make sense suddenly in the waking world. All had become one race? Was that even possible? What did it mean?

"You feed on fear, anger, hate," the Elf resumed, slower, her ire dulled only a little by her confusion, "how would unity feed those emotions?" Maybe that was way demons were labeled chaotic. In localized situations they might appear orderly, but to get what they wanted they needed disorder. The world couldn't be happy and miserable at the same time.

Unless Leviathan truly wanted the world to become better so when it fell the pain would be all the crueler? That would certainly be a lofty goal.

" Power and making differences go hand in hand my dear." Leviathan said as he took a step towards her. " There would be much blood split no doubt, but all races under one banner. No one better then the other, would that not be good? " Leviathan said as he finished closing the distance and stepped behind her, letting his hands go in her close cut black hair. " Imagine being able to stop all wars with one great one. No more arguments, no more frustration, just peace. Would that not be utopia?" Leviathan whispered into her ear as she looked into the sun. " It is easy to fed on emotions when there are those who lived through the war that would unite all races. And the dragons would always be full of hatred, hey always have been as well." Leviathan said to her question. " You saw yourself I did not require much to sustain myself, did I not show you better dreams?" he asked her turning her around to look at him in his charming human disguise.

In truth he was not lieing, the great war would unite all the races in the end, against the one that began it if they were not overthrown quickly of course but still. And there would always be a pocket or two of rebellion to tear the walls down in time. There always was a revolution after all, democracy always ended in cheers of happiness. " But enough of that, what shall we be doing today you and I... hmm, shall you ask me a million questions trying to get to know me or shall you hunt down the shade before he hunts you down. Or you could go run and hide again, I'm sure you will have a few years before he catches up once again with maybe even more friends." Leviathan said starting to explain all possible outcomes.

Ruler of an Empire? Her? Ishiyo couldn't believe it. Perhaps with a demon guiding her every step of the way. Leviathan would love that wouldn't he? She'd be doing exactly what he wanted and she get everything she desired--desires born out of his influence. It wasn't her dream to have. She didn't want it.

She could feel him drawing closer as he spoke, but she didn't turn around. Leviathan didn't want his Elf dead. Maybe there were countless souls just waiting to be given a chance to serve him, wittingly or otherwise, but right now his focus was on her; right now he was trying to convince her of a "better" path.

A reply had been about to part her lips when the demon's fingers found her hair. Ishiyo was frozen in place, but not out of fear. The fiend's lips lowered down to one ear and whispered urgent, soft promises of "utopia" and "peace." Of course she wanted that; it went in hand with her ideals of the Riders.

Slowly, gently he bade the Elf to turn and look up into his eyes. The red rings of her eyes gazed up at him. The ire had melted, though she'd regained her wits once more after the shock of being touched by the handsome demon. He wasn't... No, it was just his way of trying to convince her he was sincere and cared deeply for her future.

His next question caused the muscles in her fight to tighten, returning to the business at hand and not personal matters demon-led or otherwise. "Do you know where the Shade is? Otherwise I will question those that rode with him." There were still questions, but the Shade was the most important of the two matters. Running was no longer an option; she'd committed herself to standing before the storm even if it sent her to her knees. More so than it had all ready.

Gathering her feet beneath, Ishiyo rose to her feet with a pinch to her eyes. Seemed her body was still sore from the beating. A vigorous stretch should help ease the suffering; and a long drink. "Do you eat?" Something more tangible than emotions, perhaps? Could demons starve? Probably not. Certainly couldn't experience dehydration given their favorite places.

Leviathan thought long and hard before answering her question, and when he finally came up with an answer he made sure to word it correctly. " I could find out where he was if I wanted to but then you would be relying on me to do all your work when your skills should be honed, not left to rot. I will torture them when you capture them if you wish, but I shall not reveal to you his whereabouts. It would be unbenifical to you at the time." Leviathan said kindly as he let his demon form show, letting lose the image of a mortal for the time so that he could stretch all his muscles.

As he was doing so Ishiyo asked if he ate food. " I can eat if I choose to digest the stuff and it serves me a purpose, but I see no need to eat so no I do not eat." Leviathan said as he kept his gaze on her, " Why would you like me to bring you back into your home so you can eat and begin to plan your strategy of attack?" Leviathan asked her before adding, " A good breakfast goes along way after all." And with that he once again took human form and let his wings expand as he held out his arms to her.

Ishiyo regarded the demon for a long moment before giving him a slight shrug and a smile. "For a moment I thought you would remind me for every action you take requires an equal action I take." She found what little amusement she could in being pleasantly disappointed; Leviathan thought about a different reason not to do the heavy lifting. "What you say is true; and I promised I wouldn't ask anything of you lightly." Finding the Shade would be easy compared to killing him.

The fiend in its true form stretched happily out in the open. The Elven woman regarded the beast. It looked more Draconic than Elven. Which had come first, she wondered?

"You are right, but we will get something on the road." She paused, looking his Human/Elven-like figure over for a moment as he stood ready. Did he really move through cities looking like that? "I know of a way to draw the Shade out. It will be quick, one way or another." That said she stepped forward to take his offer back down to the streets below. No time to be standing on the roof for anyone to see.

Levithan laughed at her remark of saying she would not ask anything of him lightly. What did the black haired, red eyed vixen know of troubles. She was not alive to fight in " The purge" like many of her elders, nor had she had that bad a life when it had come to them he had seen ones much worse. She knew nothing of the gravity of situations it seemed to him and he was not going to pass the opportunity up to show her. " Would you ask me then to bring you an egg that would hatch for you so that you could live outside the riders knowledge so you and your dragon could decided what is right and wrong as a pair instead of by what they as a whole believe then? You do not understand how easy something is for me because you are not me. Remember that." Leviathan said giving her a word of advice so that she would not owe him her life before he wanted her to.

As Ishiyo stepped into his arms he held her close and took off into the sky, not going to the ground but instead towards the spine of the world. " You may think it is best to do your biding in the safety of the riders but I know better, they shall not be able to help you if you fight in the city, nor will I for they shall chase me and try to kill me instead of the shade attacking you." Levithan stated as fields passed by them with the beat of his wings. " You can eat when we land. That way you will have a chance to get to know the land around you, while preparing yourself for the battle to come." Levithan said as he came to a clearing six miles away from Ilirea.

Once again his hands lingered over her, not wanting to let go of the feel of the leather covering her body. " It is sad your skin is not more like this..." Levithan said as his hands roamed the leather suit she wore not caring much about where or what they touched. " You would be much more attractive with all those spikes." Levithan said as he finally released her from his hold. She was truly a beauty for a mortal, and he would very much enjoy eternity if she were to break here promise taking her as he pleased, but until she broke the bargain she was free to do almost anything she wished as much as he hated it.

As she left for her hunting for dinner, Levithan kept a close eye on magical activity around the area, due to feeding of the shade in the past encounter he could sense it easily and he wanted to make sure it did not come until she was done eating. Then again watching her walk away from where he stood was hell in itself, he wished so badly he had instead just taken her to his domain and done what any demon would have done, but he considered himself above them, and so as her figure swayed back and forth he could only watch and grit his teeth, letting his anger boil over when she was out of hearing distance.

"Don--" Ishiyo's brow pinched as she tipped her head back to stare up at him, her words cut off only by how sudden the fiend took to the air. She didn't care how easy it would be for the demon to steal an egg and make it accept her; she refused to do something so deeply, and personally, offensive. She had sworn if he threatened her waking dream it would be the gravest mistake the beast had ever made. What he saw as freedom from the "oppression" of the Riders she saw as a perversion of everything she knew. Did people scorn the Riders? Were they imperfect? Ishiyo didn't care. It had been decided; Leviathan had better respect that decision.

The Elf continued to stare at the fiend's face in silence as his wings flapped, carrying them from the city. While he was busy lecturing her about the field of battle, Ishiyo was silently tearing Leviathan to pieces with her mind. Not exactly, but she knew for a fact he could have done to ask what her plan was before deciding it was completely untenable in Ilirea. In fact, what he was doing now was exactly what she'd had in mind; only Ishiyo would have given her enemy, indirectly, the desire to follow out into the field of battle of her choosing away from the city.

Demons.

As they set down she let the frozen look over her face ease. The flight had actually carried away her annoyance with Leviathan's abrupt change of plan. Wasn't every day a girl got a ride through the air; certainly not in the arms of a demon that wasn't thinking about eating her.

The fiend didn't let go of her immediately, however. It brought a faint expression of confusion to Ishiyo's lips as she gazed up on his false face. As he spoke, however, the thing's fingers began sliding over the curves of her body; the leather and cloth she wore pressed gently into her flesh. Her lips parted slightly. As quickly as he'd begun groping her, however, he released her with a small lament at how she wasn't more demonic.

After she'd take a single step back, the Elven woman held Leviathan's gaze. "Don't tempt me," she snapped before turning on her heel and striding away. Ishiyo did nothing to hide her figure from the beast as she left; in fact she made sure to accentuate each step as she felt his eyes on her back. Was she really sexually frustrating a demon, or was he just behaving like a horny child to annoy her?

Slipping into the foliage, Ishiyo began gathering up some of the local flora for a quick meal. As she moved, her fingers made markings in the ground surrounding the field they'd entered. Soft words left her lips at the site of each disturbance in the soil; magic flared to life briefly and then faded into the depths of the Earth out of sight. So the face of the battle had changed; the opportunity to prepare for the Shade would gave her an added boon on the field. Why waste the moment? Leviathan must be busy preparing himself for whatever he intended to do--if he'd bother to lift a clawed finger.

After twenty minutes Ishiyo's black, leather dressed figure strode back out from the nearby trees. Time to see if the fiend had anything to say to her again; hopefully something more enlightening other than "Don't die."

Levithan gritted his teeth as he watched her go. Her words still haunting his head. " Stupid mortals." Levithan screamed as he flung balls of fire at the rocks around him, creating craters of fire where rock once stood. The girl was doing this on purpose he thought to himself as he let his anger out, killing all the small critters which tried escaping his fury. O she would have a site of his realm when she got back, Levithan thought to himself as he summoned his demonic throne to the center of the pyres he had created. Once finished he let the body's of the animals he had killed burn to a crisp.

As he saw her approaching a wicked grin came upon his face as he sat in his chair that was to big for him in his mortal form. " So the huntress returns." Leviathan said with a wicked grin as he eyed her coldly. " Do you like my decorating, I did it for you after all. Didn't want you to get only half the experience." And with that Levithan walked up to her and opened his toothy maw and with a great big smile said " So am I tempting you now mortal. Or are you wishing you had not said that." And with that Leviathan garbed her arm and pulled her to him.

He wanted to prove a point to her that lieing was not always the smartest idea, defiantly when it came to a demon. " Is this tempting enough for you? Why don't you show me." Levithan smiled as he looked into her red eyes, his body holding hers up against his. He was infuriated with this mortal and would teach her a lesson if she did not smarten up, and to hell any would go who tried to stop him from her punishment. Leviathan thought as he manifested his whip into his hand and craked it a few times on the side of her ear.

Ishiyo strode out into the open, her red eyes fixed on the creature lounging in his throne with a self-satisfied grin. Yes, the place was lovely. Fire everywhere, the Earth turned over, a gaudy throne, a pompous demon, smoke, burning flesh... but where was the thunder and lightning over head? Where were the screams? What did he want now, she wondered? This was hardly an impressive feat of magic. Fire elementals could have run through this field for all she knew. There were no walls of bones or skulls dripping with wine.

The Elf did not reply before or after he'd taken her arm and jerked her closer. Once more she met his gaze. Again they stood in one another's company, only now a field of ruin slowly burned into extinction around them. What an atmosphere of love.

The cracks of the whip caused the muscles in her face to twitch at the sensation, though the mercenary steeled herself against such "minor" pain. Leviathan was trying to assert dominance in their relationship. Ishiyo didn't let people assert their dominance over her, because she didn't believe anyone was better than her or she them. Unlike Leviathan's hollow words she believed in equality. The worst he could do was hurt her.

"Do not give what you cannot take, Leviathan," Sasaki warned the fiend gripping her tightly and pressing their bodies together. She didn't try forcing herself away or tugging her arm out of his grasp; brute strength alone wouldn't be enough. "Or are you forgetting what you said to me when I pressed a lone finger to your lips as I sat in your lap?" As she recalled, she hadn't physically assaulted him when told not to tempt him. Wasn't their arrangement based on equivalent exchange?

"Now, release me and let the Shade know I am here; you will get the suffering of us both," and all he had to do was behave himself, she finished silently to herself.
