The First Vanyali Brigade of Broddring

The First Vanyali Brigade is an entirely new division of the Broddring army that is completely dedicated to the militarization of magic users. The brigade was the brain child of King Azuan and General Arodas (My own NPC) to strengthen the empire's ability to combat the Elves and the Dragon Riders if necessary. All human magic users: mages, spellweavers, sorcerers, witches, and healers are all able to join. They travel back in forth between Illirea and Carvala training in mundane military combat and studying Gramarye. The majority of servicemembers would be former wars of the Riders, but other men and women loyal to the Broddring Empire would be accepted. Their current in-character job would only be to train, gain new magical abilities, and induct new members. Maybe if we become functioning and behave ourselves we can earn a place in the main plot.

Since I have an over active imagination I have come up with several characters that would serve in such a brigade. If anyone would be interested in playing one just ask, but the point is to recruit pre-established characters.

Lieutenant
The lieutenant of the brigade is charged with overseeing his brigade in combat and out of combat, usually reporting to a Captain. Because of the special nature of the Vanyali Brigade, Toriyuu reports directly to Generals. Because there is only one Vanyali Brigade the highest rank remains lieutanant but has the same amount of respect as a Captain.

2nd Lieutenant

Seargent
Can represent a group of up to twelve in battle or while distant from either lieutenant, responsible for the training of new soldiers in the brigade, advisors to the lieutenant, and are able to be promoted to lieutenant.

Corporal
Normally have the responsibilities of a cadet, but can lead a squad of up to five. Often represent the privates to commanding officers.
