Today was the customary day to bring her ready mounts to the closest city and bring both profit and food back to the little homestead that Dami and her mother occupied. The rope that dangled loosely from her hand was attached to a fairly large, sturdy grey steed that had been primed for sale the previous day. The mare's hide shown in the sun like snow and the only horse more impressive was the dark bay stallion that she sat upon. This horse was her baby, the one that she had raised all by herself and he was her crowning jewel so to speak. In fact so well trained and in tune was the stallion to Dami that no bridle was needed, neither was a saddle. Her slim legs tightened around the stallions rounded stomach and the bay horse started into a trot. The mare behind gave a soft snort as the end of the rope pulled her along into a swift pace.
The dark haired elf was keenly watching the forest, a small knife at her side incase any unsavory kind decided to pop out and take advantage of the woman upon the shining bay. She was close to the city and a feeling of unease overcame her. She always had a hard time coming to the busy cities and even though she knew she had nothing to fear she was a bit uneasy around many people. The stallion felt her unease and his gait became choppy causing Dami to focuse on relaxing. It was easier to ride when a horses gait was comfortable. When Damitha reached the city she slowed her stallion and pulled the mare close. She knew exaclty where she was going and soon spotted a tall dark haired elf waving over to her. She smiled softly before dismounting, the stallion following with the mare at his side. "Iner!" She called as she walked up to him, enfolding him in a hug. Iner was a good friend of both her father and Eoalan and in turn a good friend of hers. "I see you brought me another fine horse" She smiled at him and nodded, turning to the grey mare.
She ran a hand down the smooth, strong neck of the horse she was selling, letting her stallion relax knowing he wouldn't go anywhere. "Unfortuntely she is the only one ready, the others are being a bit difficult." He merely nodded before inspecting the grey mare. Like usual money exchanged hands after a few mintues and Damitha continued on her way. She swung herself up onto her stallions back and headed towards the opposite end of market. She was planning on picking up some more food than leaving, eager to get back to the other horses and get her chores done.
