The figure stood right around 5' even, much shorter than those who called this home. That was only one thing that made her stand out among the crowds. Another was that she was human, female, alone, and young, though she was eighteen, that was still too young to have traveled so far. Her journey was mostly uneventful, but she had a feeling that would soon change. She looked up, but tried to keep her face partly covered. She wore her travel robes over her fine dark green dress. Her robe was a tan gray color, like rock or dirt. It had a hood and long, loose sleeves that helped to hide her frame and her face.
She looked around, but was sure to keep her mind closed off, and to avoid going to close to anyone who tried to enter her mind. Though that was hard, being that this place had more magic users than anywhere else she had ever been, and maybe had more magic users that anywhere else in the land. Her travels had been far, and though she had run into only a few troubles, the crossing of the land had not been kind to her. She had rested when she could, but even so, she was not fully over her travels yet. Home came to mind, and with it a longing to return, but also the memory of why she had come here, and why she must stay. Magic. She was a user of magic, and therefore must be trained in the use of it.
Just then someone bumped into. She looked up startled, then hurriedly checked herself, being sure that they hadn't taken anything, but she already knew that, even if that was the plan, they were unable to get anything. She had seen only a glance of the other, pale skin, and long pure black hair. She was unable to see a face, or tell wither it was male or female, but she was pretty sure that it was an elf. She sighed and turned back the way she had come. She could see the Citadel, and now understood how big, and how beautiful it was. She was still a little ways from it, but she would be there soon.
