I found myself not even seeing if anyone was watching, or even listening for that matter. I did not care, I did not care if it was a hundred riders watching me sing my song, I would sing it and would not even care. ”Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach… Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn… Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach… Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn” I walked around the garden, my feet were hitting the beat as I moved, my body swayed slightly to the motion of the music as I walked along the path, still listening to the drums as the beat the beat I had told them about and as the flutes and other instruments sounded their own sound. I finally found a place to sit down, to sing the song as it worked it way into the air. I knew it was not my native tongue, but I loved the sound, loved the song. I had learned the words in my own tongue, but it had not sounded right when I sang it, though it was a nice story.
The sound of the drums beating seemed to calm my soul as I set there, listening intently to the sound. There was just a wonderful sound to it and the others who accompanied him was beyond beautiful. I found myself singing in a tongue I had only recently learned and I was really enjoying myself as I moved through the garden of the court yard. It was so nice to move through the garden. My dress was a beautiful pale blue and I wore a golden chain around my neck with a charm that held a dragon upon it, one that looked like it was going bit its tail. It had come from the City-State of Illrea when I had gone on a visit to see Awiti.
As the drums began to beat, I allowed my voice to go into the air, which was beautiful. ”A 'níon mhín ó, sin anall na fir shúirí. A mháithairin mhín ó, cuir na roithléan go dtí mé… Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach… Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn” It was an ancient song, a song that told a story. I had learned it from another woman not long ago and it was beautiful. It took me time to get the words correctly, but I had learned to sing it with little effort. It was Celtic, but Sean had never heard me sing it and I wonder what he would think about me singing it. ”Tá ceann buí óir ar an dúlamán gaelach… Tá dhá chluais mhaol ar an dúlamán maorach.” I sung the words carefully and I smiled as it came to me so easily now that I had practiced it so much. I doubt that Genji would enjoy the song either, he seemed to strict to allow such music into his own home, but I would never know… I would never sing this son in his unworthy presence.
”Bróga breaca dubha ar an dúlamán gaelach… Tá bearéad agus triús ar an dúlamán maorach.”
”Góide a thug na tíre thú? arsa an dúlamán gaelach, Ag súirí le do níon, arsa an dúlamán maorach… Rachaimid chun Niúir leis an dúlamán gaelach, Ceannóimid bróga daora ar an dúlamán maorach… Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach, Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn.” I listened as the music went on, my own hand beating my leg slightly and my eyes closing at the sound of music, as it ran over my body and engulfed who I was. "Ó chuir mé scéala chuici, go gceannóinn cíor dí, 'Sé'n scéal a chuir sí chugam, go raibh a ceann cíortha… Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach, Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn.” I knew the sound was coming to a end and I was not sure if I should sing it, since it was a duet right where I was in the song, but I guess it did not matter. I would sing it anyway.
”Cha bhfaigheann tú mo 'níon, arsa an dúlamán gaelach… Bheul, fuadóidh mé liom í, arsa an dúlamán maorach… Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach…” I felt the words just flowing, moving through my lips and my heart, I could not stop. ”Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach, Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn… Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach, Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí, b'fhearr a bhí, Dúlamán na binne buí, dúlamán Gaelach, Dúlamán na farraige, b'fhearr a bhí, b'fhearr a bhí, B'fhearr a bhí in Éirinn.” The music ended and it was quiet and I let out a breath as the silence just came. The musicians started yet another song, but this one I did not know, it did not have words, but it was pleasant and soothing.

Gonna take it slow babe, Do it my way
Keep your eyes on me. Your reaction
To my action is what I want to see
Rhythmic motion, Raw emotion
Infiltrating through, Sweet sensations
Hot temptations, Coming over you
Keep your eyes on me. Your reaction
To my action is what I want to see
Rhythmic motion, Raw emotion
Infiltrating through, Sweet sensations
Hot temptations, Coming over you
