After the Riders found Rose they send here to The Citadel to get trained and she didn't know where to go or what to say. She stayed emotionless as usual and just walked and looked at some of the things hanging on the wall. Where am I suppose to go? she asked her self while still walking.
As she went down the hall she stopped at a double door. She opened it and went inside. Lucky for her it was empty and she looked around. She saw a lot of paintings of people and there was a red rug in the middle of the room with a Oak tree table in the rugs centre. She was about to touch the table when she heard footsteps.
Footsteps, as well as the clicking of claws on marble floors. The little elf woman that breezed into the room was pretty...and several hundred years old. Laemiri. One of the older Riders here in Illeria, the third oldest Rider and Dragon pair to be exact. The dragon that came into the room with her seemed to almost glow from the sunlight streaming in through one of the high windows. The light glinted off his amethyst-colored scales, casting little prisms on the walls. His topaz colored eyes saw for Laemiri, the blinding elf that was his Rider. 'Hello Rose.'
Eitauv, the massive dragon, thought at her. Eitauv, even by dragon standards, was a bit of a leviathin. He wasn't exactly bulky and compact like Anslem's dragon Elisedd, but he wasn't as thin and little as Sunglow, Tasia's dragon. He was built well proportioned, with a wing span of well over a hundred feet. But here, indoors, his wings were carefully tucked up against his scaley hide. "I assume you've been brought here to learn?" Laemiri asked, one hand on her dragon. She was small, even by human standards, but she was leanly muscled and extremely strong, anyone could see that. She was still even a fairly good shot with a bow, despite her inability to see. "I am Laemiri. You'll address me as Master Laemiri, or simply Master. The same goes for Eitauv." She said, though she was blind she still had a ringing and powerful authority in her voice. "Do you have any questions?"[/blockquote]

How could I hear your Dragon talk to me? What's going on? Why am I here? Rose asked and she was starting to panic and didn't know what was going on only now aware of where she is. Yes I'm here to train but why? It's not like I'm going to get myself in trouble or anything. She said to her.
Master do I need to be here it's not like I'm causing trouble or anything so can I go please? She ask hoping she could leave.
She looked at the dragon and sigh thinking about wanting her own dragon but knew it wasn't possible.
"Calm yourself Rose. Now. You could hear Eitauv because you haven't learned your first lesson yet. You're here because you showed some magical prowess." Laemiri said, sighing. She held her head in her hands, already growing tired of this conversation. In her three hundred years of teaching, she had had many students so very like Rose. "You're here to train so that you learn about magic. How it can be used, how it can be molded, and how to protect yourself from it's dark aspects. Not all magic is good magic, Rose, I'm sure even you know that. I'm here to train you how to control your ability to use magic." Eitauv had a slight snarl on his face, a bit of a growl erupting from his chest. He was growing tired of her panic. 'I swear to whatever diety you may find holy, Rose. If you don't calm down and listen to her I'll snap you up like a scrap. It's rare for me to say something like that, I hate even hunting for my own dinner. I hate to kill things. But acting so panicked will get you nowhere and panic is a weakness that will be used against you. You have to grow up and be an adult now. You're here to train. You cannot leave.' Eitauv's words were harsh and his tail lashed back and forth, he shifted his weight. He went and laid down in front of the big doors, his whole frame obscuring the massive doorway. "Eitauv is a bit moody when it comes to panic and whining."
I'm sorry. It's just all of this is new to me. I didn't even know I had magic, but when the Riders told me I could't even speak. My mind strike a blank. Is there a way you could somehow look into my past and tell me how I got magic in the first place? Rose asked. She had a feeling it might be her father but wasn't sure either.
Rose heard what the dragon said and apologized for her behaviour and she knew she couldn't leave. She just hope that dragon stays away from here.So when do we get started? Rose asked wanting to get this over and done.
Laemiri sighed. "You were born with it, Rose. You can't simply 'get' magic." Eitauv growled, his tail tip lashing back and forth in frustration. His level of patience was very very low, due to having to worry about Laemiri. Her illness had taken away her sight completely and she was left with nothing but her hearing and her mind. "We start now."
Eitauv's thoughts rang out across the room. "First. I want you to find something. A mental image or something. Something solid that you can think about. Then, I want you to release everything else from your mind. Focus on nothing but that one thing."[/blockquote]
Alright I'll try. Rose said and try to focus on the gold vase on the Oak tree table. She cleared her mind and focused on the vase but wonders what was suppose to happen. Then suddenly she saw the vase do something but couldn't quite see it.
What is suppose to happen if I focus on the vase? Rose asked and started to move to the other side of the room to make sure that Eitauv stayed away form her.She tried again before her question was answered but nothing happened. She sigh and thought about giving up and to leave. But something told her that was not possible.
