Age:

Race:
Elf
Occupation:
Nomad, after schooling in Ilirea travels Alagaësia, jongleur
Allegiance:

Physical Description:
Morwen is fairly tall with long white hair. She usually wears her hair down, her eyes are a deep shade of blue, very smooth skin, a small nose, a very slim figure, and a beautiful face. Morwen usually wears a black cloak, her sword at her hip is of the Lhang design (LOTR elf blades) its wide handle makes it effective it a close range, the long blade is great for hacking at enemies. Morwen carries a bow and arrows at her back, she learned how to be an archer by hunting. Morwen has a strong figure and despite how skinny she is she has tempered her body to withstand very hard conditions, as the Elvin body is she is not one to underestimate. Morwen normally sports leggings made of leather, a dagger lays hidden in its holster underneath a short skirt that goes over the leggings.
Morwen really has no wardrobe, she has mainly the clothes on her back. She wears two fingerless gloves and the belt that supports the holster for her sword. Her outfit is outlined in a white trim that goes along the hem of her cloak: it follows up along the opening and rims the collar. The cowl of her hood covers her face in a shadow that gives her a mysterious and ominous air. Morwen wears two leather bottom shoes, fastened to walk quietly without slowing one’s pace.
Personality:
Morwen is even tempered, her graceful and temperate countenance makes her easy to get along with. Her temperance is very easy going, matching her nomadic ways she is very free flowing. Her temper is harsh when angered, most will know when she is mad because she is not as moderated as normal. Morwen has very strong ideals on the protection of life, her fascination with humans is likened unto a scientists interest in Chimpanzees. She believes in the humans ability to do good, but still views them as a lower form of life, even going to the point to call them the beasts of the earth when they anger her. Morwen nonetheless loves the human race, and is fascinated with their ways, though not too many humans enjoy her presence, regarding the cultural hate for the elves as a whole among the humans.
Morwen mainly sticks to small villages and stays away from the main centers of commerce, she hates the crowds. Life in a city feels to enclosed for Morwen, too many walls to keep her in. Her nomadic life was influenced by her life before she went off to school, her parents died early on in her life, and she was kept in solitude by her relatives that kept her working until she was old enough to go to Ilirea. During her time as a servant, her only wish was to roam the country, seeing the sites that she never sees, talking to people she would otherwise never run into, and doing things that most of her kind ever does. She plans to write a book about her travels abroad, any interesting quests that brings the happenings in the world outside the “perfect” day-to-day bubble called “life” to the very people living within it. Morwen has a passion for magic, she weaves together spells and stores magic inside the ring that was given to her as a parting gift from her mother. As often as she was able to during her schooling in Ilire, she has never relied on the magic stored within the gem as she is saving it for when she might need it.
History:
Morwen grew up in a family that was within the upper classes. Her parents loved each other greatly, until when Morwen was around 10 years of age, her parents were killed. They were considered political enemies, as her father was the most favored for military leadership compared to a count’s son. The Count framed her mother and father for high crimes against the crown and were sentenced to be executed for that purpose. At the end of her life Morwen’s mother left her a ring with a diamond at its center, she and her father had already poured magic into the piece for some time as they saw the plot against their house coming. They left it for Morwen to use to defend herself in the Count would turn his sights toward her.
Morwen spent the rest of her life as a servant in her relatives’ house, they confined her to their home and disallowed her from seeing people. When Morwen was old enough to leave for Ilirea she left in an uproar, her aunt and uncle were out and their little daughter (who had been used to giving orders to Morwen since the day Morwen arrived) as well as two of her friends were left in Morwen’s care. This day happened to be different, she would walk into the main room and there stood the little brat, about 15 years of age and her two friends both 14, she told Morwen to make breakfast for her and instead Morwen tied up all three of them and shoved apples in each of their mouths and set them on the table. Morwen then set to making her breakfast and gleefully ate it in front of the three starving children. She then set to destroying the house that she spent the majority of her time keeping in order. The blankets upon beads she burnt, the tables (save for the one that the children lay upon), chairs, and other wooden furniture were destroyed, cut up by an axe she used to chop wood, the windows were smashed; and last order she poured the oil they had in jars for burning over the floor and threw the kids out. Morwen then lit the spark that started the fire that burned down the house, she only stood around in the crowd to see her Aunt and Uncles’ face as their house burned down.
Morwen had a great time at school, she learned magic which was above all her favorite thing, she got into romance several times but nothing ever worked out from her point of view. Morwen learned how to play the Mandela, giving her the ability to become a jongleur so she can live the life of a nomad. She sings as well, using a beautiful voice that accompanies the Mandela very nicely. Morwen mastered the instrument, playing the classics, keeping updated on newer styles, making her own styles, writing her own songs, and keeping up on newer songs that she learned from friends. Morwen loved sword play, she studied the style of swordplay and designed a sword that would most greatly benefit her personal style, she created a sword with a curved blade for durability, the handle was made to be long with great purchase. The design is perfect for defense and offense, she called the design Lhang and commissioned a blacksmith to make it for her. The blacksmith being her friend happily complied, nothing extravagant was put into the sword until the battle master had used the design. Then the design, having shown its practicality was moved on to the smith master who put more work into making the sword masterful and beautiful. Morwen has had the same sword, and it has never failed her through her training and skirmishes.
Morwen, inherent on her ability to use magic was one of the top of her class during her schooling; her talent for the craft and ability to learn quickly gave her an end up in the competition against most of the other students. Her first series of tests she slacked off MAJORLY in, and didn’t start off so well, but as the years went by she established a strong work ethic, studying closely under the master of magic she learned more about spell weaving and began to love the art.
The way that Morwen learned how to play the Mandela was she happened to be walking through the long corridors of a unit looking for one of her friends, she stumbled across an open door that let light and song spill outward from the inside. Morwen poked her head in and there sat the friend by the fire playing the Mandela she had learned to play ages ago. Morwen took up studying the instrument as well as singing, growing up not being musically trained made it hard for her to learn at first, but as she went she got the hang of playing the instrument and singing as well.
Morwen’s main activities throughout her studies in Ilirea consisted of magic studies, studying the ancient language, musical studies, hunting, fighting styles, and relationships. Until the day that Morwen was considered ready to graduate from the experience that dominated a majority of her life. Her times spent in the many of the places around the city, many the unpopulated parts will always be with her as a cornerstone, the memories she shared with friends will always be fresh in her mind.
From there Morwen traveled the countryside staying in taverns, camping out, visiting old friends. However, recently the creatures from the forests have strayed farther along the paths, halting some of her travels and sometimes causing unrest within the little towns and villages she stops in.

{This is an RP example from A World Undone about Ji Tong}
Ji, the Admiral, and the General stood around the map aboard Ji's flag ship. They had just started laying siege upon the three islands to the north of the Southern Water Tribe. They had just gotten done with the battle plans when a man walked in, Ji turned to the two men and said, "dismissed, yes sergeant? What's our status?"
"Your highness, we have surrounded the islands and are ready to start deploying the troops, shall I send the order to do so?" the scout stated.
"What is the status with their naval fleet?" Ji replied
"Their navy is mainly demolished your highness, however several small fishing ships rigged to explode have been ramming some of our ships, besides that we are ready to launch and awaiting further instruction", the scout said hastily
"Very well, deploy the land troops" Ji said. The scout started to exit when Ji said "How does their force look?"
"Hard to say" the scout replied, "Our scouting parties have encountered little resistance so I believe that there is not much to stand up against us."
"Very good sergeant, deploy the troops in waves, tell the General that he and I are in the first wave. Dismissed" Ji said with finality. The scout bowed and said "thank you your highness"
Ji waited until he exited and she began to strap on her sword. She exited to a scene of smoking ships, and a vast island that was theirs for the taking, along with its sister islands. She jumped into the water and ran across its surface as several boats flew past her. Ji felt exhilarated, she passed smoking remains of several vessels that were too charred to distinguish between theirs and the enemy. Ji extended her arms as the sack of water on her back sprung forth two ice wings. She focused on them and they flapped as she rose into the air.
With a bird’s eye view of the battle she saw several soldiers from the enemies line make-shift battlements. From the sea marched soldiers, boats packed with soldiers landed on shore, mainly non-benders were part of that load, besides the benders required to move the boat. When the soldiers were unloaded the boats returned to their vessels to prepare for the next wave. Ji saw from the surf emerge several green beasts, waterbenders controlling seaweed that smashed soldiers, threw them into the air, and crushed them. Many water benders were riding a self-generated wave that continued as they were on land, bending water as a blade in a cavalry charge they skewed, decapitated, and mowed down many soldiers. Ji landed, folding the wings around her, feeling the parts fall into place as it became an ice armor. She did away with the helmet for better vision.
It was a beautiful day, despite the battle going on, there WOULD be a beautiful blue ocean reflecting the blue sky, without a cloud in sight. Ji jumped into the air her armor forming into wings and spiraled down into the center of several soldiers. Her wings formed ice armor, and she created 4 appendages of water that she used to combat the four soldiers. She stabbed two and used the other two streams of water to shield a blast of fire, withdrawing the other two she stabbed both and killed them.
Ji surveyed the battlefield, she saw fire benders, earth benders, and non benders making up the enemies. ‘Interesting..’ Ji thought, ‘this is obviously not the Burning Legion, but they have multiple types of benders.. What are they?’ Ji fell back and regrouped with the General at the randevious point. They had dug in a camp where the General had taken charge very well, he lifted up his head and ducked as a fire ball scorched the air above him. He approached Ji bowing he said ”Your highness the first wave of troops is hunkering down, I was awaiting your approval for signaling the rest of the troops”
”Go ahead General call in our reinforcements.” The general turned to a younger looking man, could not have been older than 20 who ran towards the water and sped across towards the vessels. ‘We are taking in recruits that just get younger and younger…’ Ji thought.
They waited at alpha base Ji closed her eyes and reached out through the humid air using water bending to expand her senses, she felt two battalions marching towards them. Yet Ji felt a disturbance above the ground. She solidified the water above it and dug it down and she felt the heartbeats of a large force tunneling, most likely in an effort to flank them.
”General, prepare several soldiers to enforce the forward flank, I want several water benders posted at our rear! Follow my orders” Ji said. Ji told the other water benders and instructed them to create a storm of icicles going back and forth above the area she expected the earth benders tunneling under them to appear.
The battalions appeared over the hill and immediately disbanded their formation surrounding the soldiers of the Southern Water Tribe and their field base. Fire flew through the air and soldiers on both sides began to fall. The soldiers from the Water Tribe were vastly outnumbered on the shore; however, they were not completely outmatched. Ji planned this to draw out the bulk of the enemy troops out. Then the next wave of soldiers storms the beach and takes the enemies by surprise.
Ji turned around as the earth benders emerged from their flank, when they jumped from the hole they were torn apart by the storm of icicles. As the earth benders began to emerge with rock armor the water benders abandoned trying to tear them apart and emerged from the battlements and fought the earth benders. Ji emerged cutting down several men. One fire bender approached her he fired several shots at her which she blocked. She charged the fire bender and sliced him across the chest. He stepped back then Ji shot an icicle at him, she pushed it deeper into him and tore his body apart from the inside.
The soldiers were holding the line very well, the next wave came and overwhelmed the defenders. However the battle was far from won. From around the island, several fire navy ships appeared and engaged the fleet. Several of the invading troops were called back and started to board the fire nation vessels. Ji watched as one of the benders, who was bending seaweed climbed aboard one of the vessels. Several of the other men climbed aboard another and Ji looked on triumphantly as the seaweed bending person threw off several fire benders. Then she saw it take several hits of fire and one giant blast of fire sent it flying back into the ocean. The other water benders were holding their own as they shot several icicles at the fire benders. While being defended by the other water benders, one water bender, clearly the better of the group raised several tentacles that wrapped around the ships mid-section and started to crush it. Ji could hear the screeching of metal from the distance. She turned back around to the fight she was participating in. She loved the exhilaration of battle, even though she was the Further she still went to war with her troops. She is a militarist leader so she shall lead her troops out to war.
Ji called for the rest of the troops to land ashore, there they took the fight to the city. Water benders fought up the slopes to gain the advantage against defenders, who had used earth bending to modify the terrain to their advantage. The soldiers faced problems with rock slides, at times the water benders would be looking up, and would have to stop to shield themselves from a fire that would be rushing down the slopes towards them. The battle was chaos, however, the soldiers under Ji’s command prevailed as the marched past the outer defenses and lay siege to the city. Archers were set up along the walls and clouds of arrows rained down on the water benders devastating those that were not quick enough to shield themselves. The counter attack was already taking place, soldiers were firing arrows, throwing spears, and shooting icicles at those lined up along the ramparts.
Many fell from the wall, several patches of grass had caught fire from the fire benders missed shots. Ji created a bubble of water around her, by maintaining it, it would ward off different attacks. She saw several water benders raise themselves up the walls by creating columns of ice. Others created steep stairs for others to climb up on. They stormed the city walls and one water bender actually knocked a section down. Soldiers poured into the city the screams of frightened women and children could be heard. Their agonized cries and the cowards that defended the city, those that had taken the lives of HER soldiers were begging for mercy.
Ji marched through the city and yelled take no prisoners, tear the city down!Throughout the city there were still pockets of some resistance. They were quickly wiped out and civilians killed. Ji met in what was left of the town square, her scouts had made an ice sculpture of what was left to take, each contributing to part of it. It showed three islands with many figures moving to what looked like a fortress. The status report had shown that they lost few ships, and only a small portion of their numbers had been taken out due to the skirmish.
The rest of the battle went the same way, a more uphill battle where the soldiers of the water tribe were taticaly speaking, at a disadvantage, however their skill and their numbers made up for the vast difference between defenders and her troops. The fortress was taken with ease as the enemies morale was extremely low and that of her soldiers was higher than the walls they had to overcome.
During the debrief Ji had to admit, although she did notice the agents following closely behind her and it was a sign to how much freedom she didn’t have, she loved being on top cause there was NO paperwork to fill out. She turned her focus on delegating her next moves, and working to establish colonies on the newly acquired land. Many people were glad to move over, they felt it was starting a new life.
