To become a Rider, hopeful elves or humans must pass the guardians of the doorway of Kuthian, and then descend over a mile into the bowels of Mount Erolas to the vault within. An Eldunarí guards the sleeping eggs. This lava tube was hastily enchanted and sanctioned by the Riders as their new egg den, and is possibly the safest place in Alagaësia.

Mount Erolas
This live volcano dominates the center of Vroengard, and was the force behind the island's creation. Lava tubes thread throughout its interior, and smoking plateaus of obsidian dominate the upper slopes while the are now covered in thick forest. It is here, deep within the volcano, that the dragon eggs are now kept for future Riders.
